My Disney Fiancee and I are getting married October 20 on Sea Breeze Point on the Board Walk! Yippee! We will be there during the EPCOT Fine Wine and Food Festival because we are staying the week for our honeymoon. Has anyone been to any of the tours or tastings or dinner packages they offer? We would love to "indulge" in one of the packages if anyone has any fun suggestions!! THANKS SO VERY MUCH!!!:figment:

Thirsty and hungry in Texas!!

If you only get to pick on go for the Party for the Senses...its an over view of a majority of the wines and lots of guest chiefs...

If you’re a party of two its kind of hard to keep a permanent seat..due to the fact there is no assigned seating...and people wander about going from table to table

last year they had Cirque du Soleil performed and the food was wonderful:cloud9:

Also if you or DH is more of a beer drinker there is the brew masters dinner (think it might be called something different this year) but its the only beer themed one...was wonderful

I don't know about packages but I remember back in 2000 when I went I had the pizza in italy sample and Oh my goodness was it ever good!!! :donald:

have a great time.. I'm so jealous!!! One of these days I'll get my DF to take me to disney during the food and wine event! :rolleyes1

I too will be honeymooning in WDW around that same time next year. 10/18/2008 I was wondering about the Food and Wine Festival also.

I second that in every aspect! Also, try the Inniskillin Ice wine in Canada so so good. Here is a slight hint. If you find a bottle of wine you like and want to buy, go to the center and buy it immediately. If that isn't possibly, go the first thing on another morning. THe popular wines go fast. They say the restock everyday, but sometimes that isn't always true.

I love the Party for the Senses. It is the only special (extra-costing) event I've ever done for the Food and Wine Fest, but I absolutly loved it. :goodvibes

Havent done the packages, but I will be doing one this year.. Not sure which one I will do until I get the pamphlet in the mail!!!

:woohoo: These are all great ideas! I myself have been to the Fine Wine and Food Festival, just never have bought a package. Can anyone tell me more about Party for the Senses? How much does it cost? Do you get to eat a ton? One of my favorite wines I tried was in a hut near the entrance to Mexico for Florida Shrimp called Coco Polada! DELISH!!
