Using an ECV and others... well remember I have season tix to the Jets, the last several years my Dad went he was in one and put that together with drunk Jet fans Add the mgmt in their infinite wisdom had the VIP parking empty into the handicap lot, you can't imagine how hard it was dodging the VIP's leaving the game. I wrote and called several times to complain and got no where. (yes the VIP's had closer parking)

Kim Possible sounds fun and I love Waldo, China, what are they doing there?

Dude, this is my life. Daily. I'm often explaining thing to Waldo that normally would need to be explained. It's very frustrating and funny at the same time.

Thank you so much for sharing this. It can be very difficult to manuver around WDW in a wheelchair/ECV. The rudeness and disrespect still amaze me. Bill just ignores it, it bothers me so much more.​

You know what, Tracy? That experience has truly changed me. I know that without that ECV, people with temporary disabilities or permanent ones would not be able to enjoy that Disney Magic and if those of us who are able-bodied would just think a little bit more about how we can make things easier for not so able-bodied people, even just moving over 2 inches out of their path, simple things like that, it would be so much easier for them.

Aw, you and Bill are wonderful people! I do hope we get to meet someday!

I'm right there with ya Sista...it's like slumming, isn't it? Now you know why Tony's always all over me about staying in a studio. He HATES staying in a studio. I'm not a big fan either, but you know how I like to work my points...I've tried to explain that we really don't spend a lot of time in the room, so we can suffer with a studio, but the bedroom is nice to have. A bedroom would have been especially useful this past trip... I just need to buy more points. Plain and simple.

Yeah, but Tony's right. If you had more points, you'd just go more often and still stay in a studio!

I'm glad TE had it though. Either she wouldn't have been able to leave the room for most of the trip or she'd have been miserable. I'm really happy she was able to have freedom of movement and enjoy herself.

We were just talking about this. She was so happy that I talked her into that scooter rental place, rather than renting in the park. She could do the pool and DTD - she loved it!

It's hard! Think my Nana finally got the hang of pulling onto the buses on the last day...Tony did it for her most of the time, and there were a lot of inconsiderate guests who'd complained about having to wait to load the buses, but all the CM's were fabulous.

Ditto for TE! Seriously on our last day, she rocked the parallel parking!

Wow - everything looks so yummy! I've never once eaten there. In fact I've never even considered eating there till you talked to me about it this trip...I always think "France" and "snails" all in one big, combined, oogied-out thought so I don't even know if I have even once perused the menu...perhaps next time...looks yummy....and you say the tenderloin's better than Narcoosee's? Seriously?
I was shocked at how much better my tenderloin was over Narc's. The food was very good and service was out of sight. Definitely a must-try.

Very sweet...wish M could celebrate his b-day at WDW...perhaps another year. This year all he wants (allegedly) is to "go home". I, on the other hand, am dying to go back "home"....heh heh...his b-day this year is the Tuesday after Labor Day...long weekend would be perfect...

It was fun to celebrate his Bday, but there were some problems later one. You'll have to wait for it.

It was so exciting to finally be all together again!!:It had been wayyy too long!!​

Sounds like a great trip so far. Glad you got to see LL and V. Waldo and TE are cracking me up. I can't wait to be old and say and do silly stuff just because I can. I am going to ride my scooter in turtle mode and make everyone wait on me!

There are only 2 times in your life when being silly is ok. WHen you're under 10 and over 70!

A lesson in AIS, just for you Deb. AIS = *** In Seat. If I declare AIS time as 8am, your *** better be in the seat or else I'm leaving you. I'm assuming you've never watched "Everybody Loves Raymond"?

You're going to love it, Mo. Request the Grandstand area near the bus stop. Perfect if you and Murph decide to bus it rather than drive.​

We finally boarded the most ghetto plane in United's fleet. I'm talking GHETTO ... the plane wasn't even freakin' painted, it was a primer gray. Throw some 22's spinners on that bad boy and we could cruise Crenshaw Blvd.

We blasted off into the dark sky and headed toward Florida. Or did we?

I can't twitter. I tried but I just stare at the screen when it asks me what I'm doing. It's too much pressure. I can't take it. I like Larry David's answer on his Twitter page though: "Again, this thing is asking me what I'm doing. I'm sitting here in front of a computer. What else would I be doing? Playing tennis?"

My poor husband was flagged again by TSA and needed to check in at the airport.

I tend to freak out a little bit in airports.

OMG! So do I (you'd never have guessed I bet, lol!!). I change personality I swear. It's happened so often that now, before I enter an airport, I take a deep breath and say "now Deb, you're organised, no need to panic, don't freak out in front of the kids, relax, all is well". Then as soon as we set foot inside the door I'm like "Oh my God, we're all going to die!! Everything's gone - our passports, tickets, money, everything, this holiday sucks, we're never gonna make it, I hate airports, I hate travelling, I hate life". You know, a mild panic attack!

So much more to say but lunch is ready (lucky you, lol!).
