Finding Snack Food with Snack Credits

I know there are supposed to be signs that state what is eligible on the DDP.

I really want to try things from the bakeries in World Showcase, but having seen pictures of the Caramel Shop, starring rolls, and Main Street Bakery... I don't always see the DDP symbol on the items. Besides asking, which I know I can do, is it pretty obvious what I can as a snack?

At the top of this page there is a sticky listing the Snacks that people have gotten with a Snack Credit. The rule of thumb is usually snack credits are good for items up to about $4, +/-

There's no way to tell if something is allowed if there's no DDP logo next to it unless you ask. You don't have to be hesitant about asking, the worst that can happen is the CM will say no.

Don't expect the answers to be totally consistent.

It can will occasionally vary on the same items in the same shop based on who you talk to.

I always just ask. Some times the CMs don't even know so they ring it up before serving me to see if it will work. I remember being able to get just about any snack from the WS on the dining plan though. We ate around the world one day and I don't remember anything under $4 that wasn't eligable.
