Finding Nemo AK

The show is VERY good and of Broadway quality. You will not be disappointed with it and it rivals Festival of the Lion King. Some of the effects (Bruce the shark, the aquarium, etc.) are excellent.

Make sure you get centered seats as the ones on the far sides have a partially blocked view (although still a great show).

..of course if you ask 20 Disney Lovers your going to get 20 answers..for me...Lion King did what it has done for years for me...brought a tear to my eye...there is nothing better (except Fantasmic)..Finding Nemo...my first experience...I started to fall asleep...but then I am not a big Nemo fan..Just my 2 cents...

I would do any of the attractions atleast once to see if I liked it. We found it to be too long. My 6 yo wouldn't go on the Nemo ride at Epcot thinking it was the musical. We had to convince him it was a totally different thing. It was neat to see, but I don't think I will feel the need to see it again. My group of 14 all agreed that Lion King was much better. The actors were really good, but I think they should show either just the actors or just the puppets. I found myself focusing on the actors and not paying much attention to the puppets.

But, there have been many positive remarks about the show also. The only way to know if you'll like it is to go see it.

We just saw the Nemo show at AK on Friday and it was wonderful! The performers were top notch as were the effects and the music. We absolutely loved it!:)

It's open and its GOOD.

As good as Lion King on Broadway! At 60% of the price!

At 60% of the price?
Do you mean by comparing the "park admission" price to a Broadway ticket?

Tough to compare as many guests have multi-day tics or AP's when actual price of admission to AK could be VERY low.

Even then, the Broadway ticket does not ALSO include EE, Safari, TtbaB, FotLk, Dinosaur, etc.

So yes, FNtM is a very good show, at an OUTSTANDING price of admission.

just okay. I too thought it was too long. And if you don't know the story, you won't get it. Which I think stinks personally. That is what I don't like about Mermaid too although I really love that show. The puppetry is great, the music is okay. The staging is crowded at times and performances uneven. I think the kids around me were bored. And if you have seen over 100 B'way shows like I have, you definitely don't equal it to B'way. I would consider it equal to good regional theatre. And it is worth seeing if you haven't but I won't go back again. I do see Lion King EVERY time I go....I love it.

They shoved way too many people in that theatre and I wasn't even able to sit with my group...we were all separated a lot. I guess I could have left but then I would have waited 40 minutes for nothing. If I had kids with me, that is what would have happened. I thought that was really poor planning on the Cast members part.

I do have to add....it is better than Tarzan...I did not like that much at all...but like someone else said...now that I have seen it...maynot go back..just not that thrilled..:confused3

We loved it! We didn't like Tarzan, either. I do think it rivals Lion King, but just in a different way.

When it first started, I was thinking "puppets???, huh???"
But by the end, I thought it was a great show. It's different than Lion King and I wouldn't say it's better, but we will see it again on our next trip.

We were looking forward to seeing this when we there on Christmas Eve. My family loves theater and music and absolutely love the Festival of the Lion King. Our waiter at Restaurantasaurus said "you either love it or you hate it". WE finally got there for the 4:45 show and due to technical difficulties it was cancelled:guilty:

It's added to our list for next time.:)
