Finding fruit at the Fort?

Hi all,

I'm just getting my garden grocer order together for our upcoming trip (2 weeks!) and I'm wondering if it is possible to get decent fruit at the fort. We've got the dining plan that allots us a bunch of snacks and rather than buy a load of fruit from Garden Grocer, I'm wondering what the various offerings are at the snack bar and trading posts.

Anyone know?

I'm not sure of what is available at Fort Wilderness, but around the parks there are single pieces of fruit such as apples, oranges and bananas. In the shops of the other resorts that I have been to, I have never seen larger quantities of fruit available - just single pieces. You might be better off to order it from your grocery supplier or take a trip into town for some good deals.

Yes, just single pieces and variety as PP stated at the FW stores. If you eat breakfast at any buffets they will have fresh fruit available there also.

You left a lot out like how long you are staying and the fruit at the fort is fairly limited to like Oranges, bananas and maybe apples. Best bet is to get most what you need from GG and put in the refrig.

I would bring the fruit, the Fort dont have like cafe places like the other hotels do, they have lil general stores, they have apples, bananas, and oranges, singles!! Bring the fruit with you, it will be cheaper!!!
