I'm beginning to put my itinerary together for our trip to WDW in late JAN/early FEB. We are planning to catch Spectromagic parade and Wishes fireworks on the WED night of our trip. Last year we made ressies and ate at the Plaza restaurant before the parade, but the service took a while longer than we expected and we almost didn't get a spot on Main Street. This year I was thinking of finding a spot on the route early (possibly the town square area on Main Street so we could get ahead of most of the crowd upon exit?) and sending my hubby to get our family CS meals to eat as a "picnic" there while we wait for the parade to start. I'm wondering though, would we be allowed to do that or will we be "shooed" along?
I have 3 y/o twins, and I really want to try to get a "front seat" view of the parade for them.
TIA for your thoughts...
