Saw it today and our family all loved it. I have a soft spot for Finding Nemo as It was the last movie I saw a few weeks before my now almost 13 year old was born. It was a good sequel and Dory has always been one of my favourite character uso I liked that she got a story. Definitely stay until the credits are done. It drives me crazy that people leave as soon as the credits are done during Pixar/ Disney movies when they is usually a fun bit. Loved the short as well. So cute!
I absolutely loved it! I really liked the message, and there were some parts where I just could not stop laughing. I saw it really really late at night with all of my adult cousins. I remember watching Nemo with them all as kids. Being with them added an extra nostalgic factor
I LOVED Finding Dory!! And I may have an unpopular opinion here, but I loved it more than Finding Nemo! (I love both, for the record!). The cast was amazing! The plot was great, and baby Dory was way too cute!
I saw it tonight with my friends and some of their kids, I really enjoyed it. I loved all the new characters, especially Hank. It kept my attention and made us laugh out loud.
Saw it Friday with dd and all 3 dgds. We loved it. It was the almost 3 year olds first movie at the theater and she stayed interested through the entire movie. The older two (8 and 5) are still talking about it. Not sure they even noticed the message.
I was hesitant to see the movie because of this thread. We watched it last week and loved it!! Poor little baby dory was so cute and sad at the same time. And I thought the seals were great! Loved it!
There is no hope. You will cry no matter when you see it. My kids are itty bitty and I cry every time we watch this movie. Heck, I cried watching it in the theater two years before the oldest was born!
I took the kiddos' to see Finding Dory on Friday, it was their first time going to a movie theater. I was shocked they actually sat through the whole thing, especially my son (but he did start getting antsy towards the end). I liked the movie, as did my kids. Those OTTERS! Really, I could have watched a whole movie with just otters

Me too. I thought it was a cute movie and I loved learning more about Dory's backstory. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough Crush. I vote that the third movie focus on him and his tubular adventures.

Not really much of a spoiler, but as someone who lives in the area, I got the references to street names in Berkeley and Emeryville. I suppose they might go right over most moviegoers' heads. They did something like that with The Incredibles.
Also, the aquarium in the movie seemed to be a composite of places like the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Steinhart Aquarium (at the California Academy of Sciences). Both were mentioned in the credits. However, neither has an extensive outdoor area like in the movie.
