Finally!!

Well I can't believe it's finally here! We leave on Wednesday, we're staying at POR for 3 nights. We're also spending one day at Universal Studio's, we've never been there (hope it's fun). Then on Saturday we're going on the MAGIC! This is our first cruise ever. I want to thank all of you for anwsering my endless amount of questions. I feel like I have already been on the ship after reading these boards. I think I would be lost without them, I have learned so much. Thanks again for everything!

If you are really into roller coasters Universal Island of Adventures is a MUCH better choice then Universal Studios. They are right beside each other so you can make the choice.

Just my 2 cents worth.

msjaxjag~~Actually we are going to Island of Adventure instead of Universal Studios. (I'm just so used to saying Universal) But your right, that's what everyone said to go to Island of Adventure that it has better rides ~ especially the spider-man ride. Thanks!

I hope you have an amazing vacation! We are doing the same thing in September (Universal and then the Wonder). I have been to Universal many times and I think you will love Islands of Adventure. If you are traveling with a few people it might pay to rent a room at one of their hotels for the day you will be there. You will have express access to all the rides and will save a bunch of time. Its like being a rock star, you just show your room key and bypass all the lines. I'm not sure if you are doing that already but if not you should consider it. Try Mythos Restuarant for lunch. Its in Islands of Adventure and overlooks the HULK coaster. GREAT food!!

You and your family will LOVE it. The rides are AWESOME. My DW is not a roller coaster fan so I have to wait for our DD4 (5 in Sept) to get tall enough for the big coasters. She is a fast ride fanatic. We spent 9 days at WDW Fort Wilderness in May '04 and all she wanted to do was ride the Tower of Terror over and over. Since she was barely 40" tall she missed out on Space Mountain, Mission to Mars and the others. Have a great time !!!

It's during sailaway so that must be about 5pm and I think it's midship starboard, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
It's just a little beyond the deck party overlook.

I hope you make it to the meet. I have a DD 13 also. It would be great if they could meet. She was bummed she didn't meet anybody online to chat with beforehand.

If your DD is interested she can send a note to mine at my email MBFergie@aol.com and I will give it to her (in ref put DCL so I don't delete it). It's only 22 hours but they could at least say hi.
