Finally-we have returned

Thanks for sharing..hope you have a wonderful trip! :goodvibes

believe it or not...we have the same kind of drivers in ohio.:rolleyes1

i like to ask a favor? we were there in late june/ early july.
on the way home i lost my camera when it was knocked
under a tram.

our tradition, is to snap the window picture on main street
with the dvd movie posters. we do this because they
change them out every so often, so it sorta "marked" the
time period we were there. so if your walking by &
remember to snap a picture, i would be grateful. :wizard:

we stayed there. we had a std. room but our view was
"picture~prefect." one day the park was easy, while the
next was packed. the longest line..was for the tangle
meet & greet....but we had already did that @ wdw. our
daughter was interested if her hair was not in a pony
tail. but because it was indoors , we couldn't tell. while
the lil'mermaid isn't the same as the harry-potter ride,
any ride i get to "sit & rest" , is ok with me. the 6th
floor has a woc viewing spot. very uncrowded.

If the weather was a "little cool" at 85 degrees, I'd hate to see what your definition of warm looks like. Then again, I'm from the Seattle area, so I'm not sure we've even reached 85 yet this Summer.

..another reason to not wear open toe shoes at Disney...

I'm surprised disney allows them for safety reasons, or at least literal flip flops with no back strap at all. NO PROTECTION for toes during crowded times = asking for a toenail to get ripped off or toes broken.

QueenDoOver, I had a similar thing happen to me walking down Main Street, after fireworks ended ... lady in ECV STOPPED in the middle of the sidewalk, lady walking behind her diverted to directly in front of me, and I saw it all happen, and couldn't slow the stroller fast enough to avoid nudging the back of her heel (she was wearing flipflops). I apologized immediately and she chewed my head off for ? 5 sentences and 3 stores worth of walking. I was about ready to seriously  go off. We exchange a few sentences when she really felt the need to YELL at me.

Glad to hear you made it down in one piece. We are going to have to try that drive sometime. Those $100 RT Allegiant flights are just too tempting.

Can't wait to hear about your 33 lunch! :thumbsup2

Hope you are having a blast!

It is 1400 and we are back in the room for a nap for the girls, I am not a napper. We did rope drop and then IJ,PoTC(x2), Splash, HM, JC, BLAB, Space, and then ST. Thank God for the comp FP's, wait time for ST was 2.5 hours, it took us 20 minutes. They did an excellent job on this ride. People were waiting outside and baking and I really have never seen the park(at least in Tomorrowland). At 1130 the POTC line was way outside the ride and snaked back and forth x 3. No walkins at least for BB and CO at the time I checked. I was ordered to take my time so I am trying to do so.

Had hoped to add photo's but having problems with Smugmug.

CO was spot on today, excellent food, excellent service. They were seating outside at 1130, just asked for an inside table and it was no problem. Was a nice break. My little weather station(pocket type) says it is 89F, but there is a light breeze. I need aglass of moo so more later and thanks for the well wishes.

Waiting for the call from Club 33 for confirmation of our reservations for tomorrow.

No lime green. If you see a big old dude wearing a Black Ruger LCP hat, that is I.

Is that even legal in California?

For those unfamiliar with the Evergreen state, we are actually two states. The brown side and the green side. East of the Cascades, where Jack lives is the side of the state that sees the sun on a regular basis. So to him 85 is warm. Vexorg is on the west side, as am I. Here we see the sun marginally more than we see the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. On this side 85 degrees is hot, 90 degrees is bloody hot and anything over a 100 degrees we just burst into flames if we go outside. :rotfl:

Think I'm kidding? It's 3pm and it's only 77 degrees here. :thumbsup2

Jack is your room considered premium view? I just changed our hotel and upgraded our stay to premium so I am curious.

Open toes? Ewww. I am way too paranoid to expose any skin to God only knows what's on the ground. Forget trauma, bio-hazards galore.

Glad you are having a grand time. :)

I have to drop something off tomorrow evening, so I'll be in the area. Also, there will be a DIS group (Pete, Corey, et al) who will be there with the ABD trip on Wednesday. You might run into them if you're still there.

Jack rented points for a DVC unit if I remember right. DVC units overlook the pool, Redwood Creek, or Paradise Pier section of DCA. You can request a certain view with DVC, but there is no guarantee.

The big question is, Jack, are you FINALLY going to break down and buy DVC?:rotfl2:

I won't invite you to come visit us here in Arizona then.....this week because of the Monsoon rains it's only in the 105-107 degree range...which for US is considered "cool summer weather". 10 days ago it was 110 plus, lol.

85 degrees would probably mean my girls would want to wear long sleeve shirts, lol.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

So true, though! And this slightly warm weather we're having now feels bloody hot after the cool months we've had. I feel like such a wimp! :guilty:

We are staying at the Villas. At this time of the year where we live it is usually around 100F so 85F is warm.

It was 107 here in Dallas today. Expected to be 108-109 the rest of the week. I would love 85.

Enjoyed the rest of your stay Jack.

We've had a pretty unusually cold summer here in Cali - SUPER mild. When we were at DLR mid July I was still shocked that I actually had to use the jeans I packed at nighttime, it got downright chilly at night! Usually you can wear a tank and shorts until midnight in July. I actually like that aspect of DLR summer trips :rolleyes1 We always chill at the hotel/pool during the hottest hours so to go back in the early evening and not have to wear a sweatshirt is :cloud9: to me.
