Finally tried Dole Whip

Well, after hearing all of the hype, we finally tried Dole Whip last week....What a treat!!! That stuff is awesome. I had the vanilla swirl. For anyone out there whose never had it, I highly recommend it.

I tried Dole Whip this trip too as some many had absolutly raved about it... Sorry to say that I didn't really care for it. I love vanilla icecream and also pineapple, had the one with pineapple in bottom with tons of juice overflowing and icecream on top, me and my husband shared it. Hmmm..maybe it was just the combination or something.

Tried one also for the first time two weeks ago. Unfortunately had just had a big lunch at LTT and even though we got a small and 4 of us were sharing it, we could barely finish it (were in Adventureland and just HAD to try one)!

We had the one that was soft serve pineapple flavored ice cream, no juice or fruit. It was different that anything we'd ever had and very refreshing in the hot sun. Would definately get it again, this time maybe on a less full belly.

i love it and get it everytime that we go...

i have tried the vanilla ice cream / the pineapple juice but i found the vanilla flavor to give the pineapple a funny taste. but the pineapple ice cream with the pineapple juice is very good!

yummmmm can't wait to get mine next month when we go!

I've never tried one myself{not that much of a Sweetes guy}. But my DW absolutely LOVES it & raves about it constantly. In fact, we're going down with our 2 DS in about 18 days. We'll be getting there Friday evening & Saturday is my DW's birthday. Her first birthday wish is to go to the Magic Kingdom & get a Dole Whip first thing{after breakfast at Kona Cafe first}. So I can see it now, about 10:30am, my DW will be filled up with all the Dole Whip goodness. Of course my 2 DS will obviously want a Mickey bar or some sort of ice cream too. I'll have a bunch of sugared-up maniacs on my hands all day. Oh well, I guess that's why they created those 1/2 yard beers at the UK. That's where I'll get my revenge!

If so, is there a specific restaurant to get it at or is it at the ice cream street vendors?

Where does one get a Dole Whip?

Well kenneyjo , I believe they will have them in heaven. However, you can get one at the MK in Adventure Land. The Dolewhip stand is across the road and up a bit from the Swiss Family Tree House.

I will be there for 14 days. I plan to have a Pineapple Dolewhip float each day. How many calories will that be? Are there calories at Disney?

You can get them at the Adventure Land section. It's by The Swiss Family Robinson Tree House. Not sure of the full name but it starts with Aloha. I Just tried the Pineapple Float and it was the best. We were at the MK 3 days and had 1 a day.

Yes you can. As a matter of fact, you can use your rewards just about any place at WDW that you can use a credit card. Which is just about EVERYWHERE!

(BTW, we all got Dole Whips for the first time this August. We all got the pineapple/vanilla twist. We really enjoyed them, but all agreed that we thought that all pineapple would have been overkill. )
