Finally Received National ONE FREE DAY Coupon

It just came today. The one free day coupon I earned from National by earning 2 "points" in the promotion. I got one point for signing up and one for a rental we did at WDW in October.
I just tried to use it for our FEB trip and got a coupon capacity control! I'll have to try and call and talk them out of it. I wanted to use it for a "one Way" rental from MCO to BWV (we'd drop the car the next day at the Dolphin) I have a full size reserved for 2/18-2/25 for $170 (all fees included) pick up at the Dolphin and drop at MCO.

I have not received one. We signed up and rented in the alloted time. I am sorry you cannot use it, what a bummer. Hopefully your phone call will get around it. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Glad you got your coupon, I am also waiting for one & hope to use in May. I had asked on a previous post but no one has responded, are the cars at the Dolphin or do they have to take you to the car care center. We are staying at BWV and the Dolphin would definitely be closer to walk over, but not if they have to drop you anyway as others in our group could drop me. Thanks for the info.

Not sure how your free rental day works but watch the rate. Sometimes those free rates cost you more to rent.

I assumed the cars were at the Dolphin, but maybe I'll call and double check.

BY way of follow up, today I called and still no luck although I was able to get a reservation for Intermediate, EA, pick up MCO drop Dolphin for $47 including all fees. I took the reservation and will keep checking and hope that availability opens later to use the coupon.

As far as the Dolphin goes, all cars are on property. Just go to the rental counter to handle the paperwork, then they give you a slip of paper that you take out to Valet and they'll bring your car around!!!

I should have got one too, I had 2 rentals during the period. I don't think I can use it anyway because the free day rental has to be over a Saturday night, our next trip is Sunday to Friday.

**are you trying to use the coupon for the one day rental? Not keeping the car over a Saturday night might be the problem.

Debbie - that seems to have been misinformation. There is no weekend requirement. I actually have a reservation using the coupon for pick up at the Dolphin 2/24 and return to MCO 2/25 and it show total cost of $2.71. I'm pairing this with another reservation I have with EA for and Intermediate pick up MCO 2/16 and return to Dolphin 2/23 for $176. total cost. Now I just have to secure my on site accomodations.(LOL)!
