I've been overworking since September...

And now that I ahve a break...my body decided to shut down....

And I had all these things planned that I was looking forward to..ex:working on my johnny depp painting, scrapbooking, organizing

I'm an art teacher and I believe that getting involved in my community is very important.

So I, for example, painted a huge canvas as the backdrop for a choir I was in....then was part of a parade... then had Christmas parties... then had the choir show...

Now I feel really bad.

Any idea of how to feel better and maybe do a few things that I was looking forward to...?

(BTW.. I'm starting to plan a trip for May or July depending on when my contract ends....hehehe)

What do you have exactly? If it's a cold I highly recommend Buckley's!

I have no idea what I have lol

At first I had a migraine.. now it seems to be gone

I feel weak

Thought I had a sinusitis

But I also have symptoms of a stomach flu

And I could stay in bed for days...

But I don't want to spend days in bed.. you know?

I'd make an appt. with dr. He or she would be the best person to offer help. Feel better!

Yeah.. My doc is hard to get to. Appts can be made for like 3 months in advance.

So I'm thinking it's just that I'm exhausted.

Well, that's not very helpful! I'd find a new dr. I mean, what good is he/she if you can't be seen WHEN you are sick?

He's really good.

But here in Canada it's not the same you know with the insurance and all. Some people do take advantage of it and book appointements even if they are not very sick.. or not sick at all. I know someone who does that... grrrr she makes me angry

I have to go to the ER if I can't get an appointment.

But I don't feel sick enough to go see a doctor.

I just feel tired... And I'm really thinking it's because I NEVER stop ;)

It sounds like exhaustion due to overdoing it. I have this happen often, especially as I get older. I used to be able to run around and do everything. Now, when I try to act like I'm 20, I pay for it for days!!

Sometimes if you get too stressed out, when the stress stops you get that run down/fatigued feeling. Hopefully you'll be better in a day or two. Relax and treat yourself well!

Thanks ;)

I'm reading my passporter from front to back hehehe

This will help hehehe

Take one full 24-hour period and do NOTHING but relax and sleep.. I had this happen to me about 6 weeks ago - I had been working like mad unpacking boxes here at DD's house; sorting things in the attic; etc.. One morning I woke up and I was just totally wiped out!! Felt so weak that it was actually making me dizzy.. My legs were wobbly and I just felt awful..

Took an entire 24 hours and did nothing but relax on my bed (watched a little tv) and slept.. The next day I was fine - and full of energy again..

Sounds like your batteries are run down and need to be recharged..:thumbsup2
