FINALLY....My 1st PIN Code Discount...

Well, this all sounds good but when I called....NO ROOMS AVAILABLE anywhere. The discount code was from 11/23 to 12/25 and the Cast Member said that even without a discount, there were no rooms for either of the first 2 weekends in Dec. We actually had not planned on going but couldn't pass up the code....especially since we've never seen WDW at Christmas. No luck.............I'm a bit bummed!

2 weeks ago I received my very first PIN Code as well . I was so excited at first I didn't know what to do. I had already booked AKL for Dec 8-14th so I just added the extra discount using the code. I suggest keep calling and maybe you get a cancellation....you never know!

I called this morning because I booked CBR the day I got the code (a week ago) since it was all they said was available. Today, the CM I spoke with said that there was lots of availability in POR and POFQ with the code, so I switched to POR. We are going 12/15-12/18. HTH!

Oh my goodness!

I kept calling like you all said and we are now booked at WL (our 1st choice) for December. This was not planned at all but with the PIN code, we booked since we have been dying to see the MVMCP. I did it all today...booked the room and tickets. I'm soooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!

I received my PIN code through e-mail. The only availability of WL was courtyard view for $195. That is $60 per night off the $255 rate. How about you all out there? How much did you save on your PIN code?

I got e-mails to use a pin code, but I saw them on the DIS weeks before my e-mail. Would love to go, but can't afford it.

I got the code via snail mail yesterday. My 5 year dd saw the card first, and said, ah DISNEY and started to walk away with it. Almost tackled the child to get it back, Same dates and rates as the email. Unfortunately I can not use them this time.

A postcard arrived at our home yesterday with our correct address but with the name of a total stranger. When I called to see how the PIN rate at AKL would compare with the AAA rate we have locked in for early December, the CM told me -- after being on hold A LONG time -- that I couldn't use the card because it didn't have my name. I cajoled, I appealed, I told him, truthfully, that this is the FIRST time I've ever gotten a PIN. No deal, unless my name is Julie, which it ain't.
Well, as I learned here a long time ago: If you don't like the answer, call, call again! Only took one other call -- today. I spoke with a lovely CM who worked it out for us to use the card and PIN! It gives us a Savannah view room for $220 a night before taxes ($245 after taxes), which is about $20 a night off the AAA rate we had and the same rate as Florida residents receive, I believe. (The card is the one that offered Values for $84, pretax, from 10/23 through 11/23, and $64, pretax, from 11/27 through 12/25.)
The rate certainly isn't the great one we received for our trip four years ago, but it beats rack.
Good luck to all who are still waiting. I didn't think my Prince, er, my PIN would ever come... But there's hope...

I booked a standard room at POR for $99, 12/15-12/18

I figured I'd add this since we have deluxe and value rates up but no moderates

I just received a pin in my email today

Only problem is that it is for Jan-March of next year, when we were not looking to go. Does anyone know if Disney will extend your PIN code for a later date if you book when you recieve your pin number? I know its a long shot but I thought I waould ask.

That is great about WL that is where we are so wanting to stay.

I'm angry about it. I tried to book at the same time and was just coming here to see if anyone had any luck. Guess not.

It is frustrating. Why send out the card if you don't have any rooms available? The best we could do was SSR for $199. Ummm I think not.

They couldn't even find a rack rate value or moderate for our dates.

I'm glad everyone else is getting deals but I want one! Hopefully I'll get a Jan-March pin.
