I was finally able to get some pictures on paper tonight for my college grad. pages....True I'm not quite finished (need something to seal this darn ribbon with) but almost! I can't believe I've been sitting on these since May...It's hard to start them for some reason-maybe I'm not read to accept I'm not still in college there! I don't know but it feels so good to have something tangible there, you know? What would you seal the ribbon with? It's cardmaking ribbon, so it is acid free, but what do you seal ribbon with that IS acid free? Ugh...when I figure that out, these pages are IN! YAY!

I'm having a hard time visualizing what you're trying to do so coming up with an idea is hard.

Can you explain that a little more please? You know, is it a ribbon weaving through the layout and by seal do you mean adhere it to the page?

I had someone do ribbon in a trading pages for me where she tore out a section of colored card stock, layed the ribbon underneath and adhered the card stock to the page with the ribbon showing through. Is that the sort of idea you're looking for?

I need to seal the ends off so that they don't fray...I'm tying it in a bow onto a charm (it's really cute, an owl in a graduation cap) and just don't want it to fray. I'm thinking maybe it wouldn't though? I don't know!

Couldn't you just use a little glue on the ribbon ends? (obviously acid-free scrapping glue.) For normal useage I would tell you to use clear nail polish to keep the ends from fraying, but obviously that probably wouldn't be acid free............P

I finally just stuck it in there and figured if it starts fraying, I'll trim and seal, but the main reason things fray is movement type stuff, so I'm thinking it won't move enough in the page protector to be a problem. Thanks for the suggestion, it may be what I try if this doesn't work.
