Finally made our HHI flight ressies-Jacksonville

Yay, that's finally done. We've never been to the Jacksonville airport, but Southwest's fares there made it the choice. So tell me all about it. How manueverable is it? How far from HHI? How are rental car rates there?

That is how we go to HHI every June. Very nice newly rennovated airport. I get better rates for my van rental there from Dollar than I do in Orlando. It usually takes 2.5 - 3 hours, but you never know about traffic especially on the island.

Hey, we bought our Thanksgiving airline tickets this weekend too! Glad we have that behind us. Enjoy your HHI Thanksgiving, we're going to Cape May.

Hmmmmm never thought of this scenario either. So I looked up BWI to Jacksonville...they have non stop flights. Very reasonable too. So how far is it again from Jacksonville to WDW? Do you all drive to first then drive the 6 hours after HHI vacation to WDW then fly home from Jacksonville???? I guess you could also stop in Savannah on the way to HHI too. hmmmmmm the wheels are turning now.

It's about 3.5 hours from Jax Int (its right off of I-95) to Disney HHI (about 40 minutes of which is spent in the last 15 miles getting there.

You couldn't get into Savannah/HHI International? It's only about 35 miles from there.

Jax to WDW is another 2 1/2, but, it's interstate all the way.
