Welcome back - we are getting ready to move five blocks away and it's driving me crazy. I can only imagine moving across the Atlantic.

Actually as hard as it is moving across the Atlantic, I think moving across town or a few blocks away is just as hard (especially if you are doing it yourself and not having movers come to help.) Hope you have a smooth move!

Jeanne, I talked to mom the other day and she mentioned she talked with you. Yes, I think she is excited....she calls me often, which is so nice now that we don't live in another country. We finally got the last of our things Wednesday, it was so nice to get the last of it, it was a long two months!! Sorry we didn't get to connect when we were in NY, maybe another time. Mom did bring her church directory so I could see your picture....it is nice to put a face with the name, next time it will have to be in person!

Wow Holly, Reno is quite a change from West Point!!! I bet it is a big transition, how are you liking it out there? Do you miss NY? I understand the getting settled in again routine all too well, I hope you transition was a smooth one.

It is good to be missed and GREAT to be back! Now that we are starting to get settled in the house we are really enjoying Virginia and the US. We do miss Italy a little, but I love the good ole USA!

Mamu, we have moved from Italy to the US once before, so it wasn't foreign territory for us. The outprocessing from Italy really wasn't so bad, except for a few minor things, most of our troubles were the folks here stateside, it was horrible. In my DH's 19+ year career and 10 moves, this was by far the worst of them all!

Glad to be missed, Dan, I certainly missed the DIS. Hoping all is well in Chicagoland and that Marie is doing just fine. I am not sure how much catching up I will do, haven't been able to make it past page 2 thus far, just not enough time. Maybe one of these days!
