finally made a decision and BOOKED!!

After hours and hours (or what seems like it anyway) of going back and forth, debating, researching, arguing, looking at photos, videos, reading trip reports......we FINALLY booked at the POFQ!!!! Sept 28-Oct 8th..how in the world am I going to wait that long?? I'm so so so excited...still hoping that the free dining promo will come out for that time

We didn't make any special room/building requests,other than adjoining rooms if at all possible. Are all of the buildings relatively close to the bus area and food court? Any recommendations from the experts?

POFQ is the smallest resort and the farthest building is only about a 5 minute walk to Port Orleans Square and the bus stop. It only has one bus stop and if the bus does share with POR, pOFQ is the 1st to be picked up and dropped off. Take the relaxing boat ride where you pass by the Tree houses on your way to DTD. Try the beignets. Go over to the sister resort POR and swim, eat, shop and just look around. Also if you have the chance go see Yehaa Bob at POR, he usually is there wednesday - Saturday 8:30-midnight. He puts on a great family show, very funny. Rent a surrey bike or a boat, take a carriage ride, I think that is plenty

We loved our stay at POFQ. The grounds are lovely and the compact size makes it easy to get around. Now you just have to wait....the hardest part!

Loved POFQ! Very romantic. If they have free dining make sure to call day 1. POFQ sells out on specials very, very fast.

I love POFQ. You will too. The only reason I'm not staying there next trip is because I got a free dining PIN in my email and POFQ wasn't available. But I'm hoping I'll love POR, too.

I've stayed in buildings 2, 6, 3 and 7 and none of them were a bad location. Even a parking lot view is a good location, really. The boat to DTD is fabulous, scenic and relaxing. The foodcourt is limited but we like it anyway, nice to sit outside at a table with your lunch and listen to the music. The hot tub is fab, the pool is fun, I can't say enough good things about POFQ.

Congrats...you are going to love POFQ. We love how small it is compared to the other moderates and the boat that takes you to DTD is great too. I know what you mean about waiting, we leave exactly one month from you (8/28-9/9) and it feels like it is a million years away, but before you know it you will be on your way .

YAY! Congrats, waiting is always the toughest part but now you can focus on dining and touring plans! POFQ is lovely. We had part of our wedding room block there for guests of ours. The size is very nice like the others said. Make sure to take the boat to DTD. It is nice to just sit back and enjoy.
