So I love the Podcasts. But I haven't been able to listen to them much because I didn't have an ipod. I used my computer a few times but when I am on it I am doing other stuff and my brain can't multi task.
So I finally got an ipod before Christmas. Well, first I couldn't figure out how to work the darn thing, so I was at the whims of my 13 year old to put things on, take things off, charge it and sometimes even turn it on and off! *WILL! I AM STILL WAITING FOR THAT VIDEO TUTORIAL I REQUESTED!*
But even then, I just don't have much opportunity to wear headphones and listen. I did get listen to some while waiting for my kids at swim practice a few times, but I found I got really strange looks from the other parents when I was laughing
so hard I had tears streaming down my face! (and I am trying to forget the time I almost fell out of my chair laughing. . . )
BUT! Around Christmas time DH found this neato thingie on ebay that I hook to the Ipod and I can listen through my car radio! This was exactly what I needed! As a SAHM I spend most of my life in the car (why do they call us stay at home? I am NEVER home!) ! This is the coolest thing ever and now I can laugh myself silly in the privacy of my own car. I have managed to keep up for the last few weeks and am going backwards listening to the older ones in between. I actually started at the way back originally--by just picking the first one on my list-- but got a little freaked when I forgot how old it was and Bawb started talking.
I even got DD to show me how to put stuff on and off. I still have to be supervised
but I haven't broke anything yet. Okay, I did manage to delete everything on my ipod once or twice but I am learning!
Thanks Podcast team for making my annoying drives and running errands so much more enjoyable now!
