FINALLY have trip planned was wondering about crowd levels week before Thanksgiving!

After NUMEROUS changes , we have finally made our final reservations for Disney. We are going Nov. 16th - Nov. 22nd which is the week before Thanksgiving. I have read that this is busy time but reading the posts on here, it seems that this may be a great time to go as far crowd levels. Can anyone give me some feedback on what to expect?? We are staying at the Contemporary for the 1st time and it will be MY BIRTHDAY!!! We are all so very excited. We have a 4 and 8 year old so we are a little worried about waiting in lines!!

Good to hear you booked your trip. We went the first time with my boys the week before Thanksgiving and it was great. The longest line was at Splash Mountain and even that wasn't too bad, except the camera broke and we had to get in line again. Oh well. We had Thanksgiving Day at Epcot and dinner in Italy and it was absolutely wonderful. Thanksgiving eve, Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving you really noticed the swell in the crowd levels and lines but we were getting ready to return home and just did a little shopping so it didn't bother us at all. Have a wonderful time.

We've been the week before and the week after - both are awesome! Good choice! This year we are going from 11/9 thru 11/15. Hoping we are just as lucky as last time. Have a great trip!
