Finally got "The Call!" - Big day today!

My husband and I have been open to adopt for just under two years, and today we finally got "the call!" I'm so excited and anxious. I just had to share! We have to wait until next week to meet her, but unless she just hates us, everything should be on track for her to join our family in the next couple of weeks. At times it felt like this would never happen for us, but I guess we just had to be patient (not my strong point).

That is fantastic news!

My husband and I waited to adopt for 4.5 years from China before deciding to go through foster care. We got an email on Dec 5 letting us know we have been matched. We have not met the children yet and have to wait until march, but it will be here before I know it.

Keep us posted on how things go for you when you meet her. I am so happy for you since I know what you have been through!
