Finally got one

I broke down and bought after losing a couple to Disney on ROFR. Had intended to purchase at SSR using the new promotion, but after all the reviews on here and looking at the size of the rooms, points needed, etc., I asked our guide about OKW. Only $6 per point more. The swing vote came I as was told that with a Feb. use year, we could get all of the 2006 points and bank them immediately, giving us another vacation right off the bat and only have to pay two months dues. Planning our first of two trips home for next year as we speak!

Yeah, I'm not sure I see the logic. $92 per point and 12 fewer years. I can understand being a little gunshy after ROFR, but I'm guessing Tom's staff could have gotten you through ROFR on an OKW contract at a lot less than $92.

But it's your call. Congrats!
