Finally Got An Answer Webcertificates

Just got off of the phone with Member Services at Mypoints and the very nice lady there said that most redemptions are taking 4-6 weeks.

I did tell her about the e-mail that I got saying that it should only take about 15 days and she said that I was sent the wrong information.

Anyway, for those that cashed out on 9/20 we hopefully should be seeing our webcertificates anywhere between 10/18 and 11/1 by my calculations.

I also cashed out for 4 WebCerts on 9/20 as well....but, I'm not in a big rush as our trip is not until next summer.

I'm glad you were finally able to get through and get an answer for us. I dropped them an e-mail yesterday.

Just wanted to add....

I received an e-mail back from MyPoints this morning (3 days after my original e-mail to them....wow!).

It basically stated the same information as maciec posted.....here is the text:

Dear Member,

Thank you for contacting MyPoints Member Services.

Our records indicate that your Webcertificate redemption was placed on
09/20/2005. Webcertificates generally take 4-6 weeks to be processed
and sent to your registered MyPoints email address. The Webcertificate
Activation email will allow you to claim your reward.

If you do not receive notification from the vendor within the specified
time period, you may contact us again at memberservices@mypoints.com.
We would be happy to assist you in claiming your reward.

Thank you for your valued membership!

Looks like 11/1 is 6 weeks for anyone cashing out on 9/20.

I got the same reply as well, I cashed out on 9/20. I know that I'll have them by my trip on 12/4 but I had gotten so use to getting the e-mail within a few days of cashing out.

I cashed out on 9/27 for a webbie. I sent an email last week and received a reply today stating it would take 4-6 weeks. My email also said here is 25 bonus points for you for waiting. Points will post in 2-3 weeks.

Thanks everyone. I too, cashed out 6500 points on 9-22 and have been wondering. I have sent 2 emails to mypoints without an answer back, even though they say they will answer within 3-5 business days and it has been 10 days. I guess I will just wait. Hopefully they will come soon since we are leaving on 12/1 and I wanted to get a plastic card so that I can use them at WDW. Debby
