Finally got AAA discount!

Well, when we booked back in the summer (July maybe?) there were no standard view Poly rooms with the AAA discount available. No biggie, we'll just wait for the discount codes...which didn't happen this year! Okay, let's call back and see if we can snag some miracle code/discount...nope, try for AAA again. No again.

Well, yesterday, DH just gets it into his head again that maybe he should try to call and get the AAA discount, even though it is mid-afternoon, and the last time we called, the CM recommended calling in the AM to snag those AAA rooms.

I can't believe it, but we got the AAA discount, at less than a month out!!! We are so happy, as this means that since our deposit is paid, and we are using Visa Rewards to pay off the rest of the room, we will owe $9 on the room balance!

I just wanted to post this to let you all know that perseverance does pay off. We kept trying and trying and it finally worked. I'm glad too, because I hate paying full price for ANYTHING, and paying full price for a deluxe was killing me!

Now, to work on getting that upgrade

congrats! It may be because those getting AP discounts that were originally booked at AAA released their AAA rooms, making them available for you. So if you ever need AAA again and they are sold out, keep an I out for codes for Disney Visa, Fl resident, or AP to come out and call again for AAA then, for future trips of course. Anywho, great job!
