Finally Got a PIN Today!

Woohoo! I finally got the 40% PIN code I've been waiting for so I changed my reservation to October (which has our preference all along). I'm so excited! This is the first time I've ever gotten a PIN code! So many first planned for this trip... I can't wait!

Me too! 2 hours after booking using the 35% Late Summer rate I'm calling today to use the PIN, add tickets and dining.

Got mine via email - and it has LOTS of date restrictions.

Various pins offer different discounts. The one I've received is room discount.

I never get PINs anymore. We joined DVC in 2008 and the PINs stopped coming. I want a 40% off deluxe pin sooooo bad. We have a package booked for this summer and I would love to add a few nights at the beginning. I'm so bummed.

Wow..PIN not needed! Deluxe resorts are 40% off for the dates I was looking for anyway! Now I just need hubby to say I can book it!

I literally just got one via email 10 minutes ago, but it's only for "stays most Sunday-Thursday nights 5/1/11-5/31/11". Too bad we aren't planning on going till December

Well I called on a whim and there was a PIN attached to my name. Sad thing is it is the same one that they are offereing for early/late summer. Then a few days after that I got an email flyer with almost the same dates. June 4th for one and then June 5 for the other. Now on Disney World.com they have one for June 14th. I booked it arriving on the 12th and the applied it for all days, (leaving on the 17th) but that is just to early, (not to mention right after a 14 year old bday! With that and staying at the CBR it was only going to save me around $200 but next to a bday party the night before I just couldn't do it! Congrats on all of the PINS!

It was an email from Disney Destinations and was at the bottom of a message about a package I had priced. There were tons of blackout dates. It looked to be pretty much the same as what others have posted (sorry, I don't have the email handy at the moment). There were only 2 weeks in Oct. I could use it but there were more windows through Nov. and Dec.

You know what's weird? When I called to change my reservation to use the new PIN, I asked and they told me there was no PIN attached to my name. I had to read it to them from the email. Not a big deal but I thought it was odd that they sent me one but didn't seem to know it at reservations.

not 100% true. I received 1 pin code in the entire time i've owned DVC. Naturally, for dates that wouldn't work for me lol.

im trying the tricks ive seen listed here (requesting DVD, saving vacation plans @ WDW site in my account, etc.) to try & get a pincode generated for this Dec since i've let my oldest DS use my points for week after Thanksgiving.

where's karma when u needs it?
