Everything sounds great, but did I miss something? Are you going to use the points at the end of August? THIS August? That's cutting it very close. Perhaps you wrote somewhere that I missed that it will be next august.
And WOW... $79 for SSR? I've not been paying good attention to the DIS. Are the resales trending down in price that much elsewhere?

Indeed, we are using points in 09, not 08 (already have most of 08 trip paid off).

We are paying $80 per point, but there are several contracts that have been approved in the high 70's range. Not sure what's going on at DVC, but they passed through a bunch of offers real quickly.

OK, I now have the final documents from the title company on 7/31, or 13 days after our offer was approved by Disney.

I received the Confirmation of Transfer of DVC Points, which both my wife and I have to sign, as well as the title company's Buyer's Statement. Today I'll send in a check (less the $1000 earnest money) along with those documents and they will be submitted for the deed to be recorded. However, before that time I should get my DVC membership number so I can make reservations if I want.

Went to the bank on Saturday where we got the cashiers check for the ramaining balance. Sent that out today FedEx next day, although you don't have to send it that way. You just need to send it so it's traceable, or you can do a money wire.
