Finally Found a Decent Gluten-free Bread!

I am so happy, I finally found a decent gluten-free bread yesterday at Meijer!

It's made by a company called Schar, out of Germany.

The slices are small, I wish they were bigger, and I had to pay $6.19 for the loaf but it tastes great!!

I had two slices of it with sugar free strawberry jam this morning for breakfast, and it was heavenly!!

I also bought some hamburger buns they make, wonder if they make hot dog buns too.

I just wish gluten-free foods weren't so expensive. I don't buy them as often as I would if the prices were lower.

I try to stay away from sweets, even gluten free ones, as I'm diabetic as well as gluten intolerant. And I have become lactose intolerant as well, so it's really difficult to find things to eat that won't "bother" me.

I'll have to look next time I go to Meijer. Right now DD only likes energ light tapiocia loaf.

I did try the new cake mixes from betty crocker for DD birthday and thought it was good.

I do order some of DD food from Amazon you need to order a case but it does help with the cost.

Oh, that's too bad. Goodness, that's a lot of foods to stay away from.
