I am taking my daughter to Disney World for a graduation present!!! :woohoo: As I am not well off financially, I need to do this as cheaply as possible. Currently, we would prefer to stay at the campground as we both love camping and we could rent a camper. This helps in 2 ways. One, it is cheaper than staying in a cabin. Two, campers offer us a kitchen in which to cook which saves us from eating out. We do plan on eating out 2-3 times and that is it. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions/tips/hints on the best places to rent campers and any other advice anybody has. As of right now, I do not know how long we will be coming down. I'm hoping for 7 days as she wants a trip to Discovery Cove, which thankfully is all inclusive and provides us free tickets to SeaWorld and Aquatica. I have printed her out the maps for Disney World and we have been watching videos, as well as her checking out everything to make sure she gets to do everything she wants to. I am very excited as I have never been to Disney World either and have been wanting to go for a long time.

I appreciate all the advice/help!!! Thank you!! :worship:

Congratulations!
I'm thinking you want to rent a pop up. I hear good things about fortcamperrental.com

If you want good budget tips here and the budget board is the place to be.

We rented a pop up from FortCamperRental.com last spring break, they were so nice to work with and everything was seamless. We drove down from Indiana, so I brought all the clothes, toys and extras I wanted, plus most of the food we would need. I had a small cooler with meat I bought at home that I froze before we left, lunchmeat, cheese, hot dogs & butter. I also brought bagels, bread, chips, cereal, and assorted granola bars/snacks. This way I was able to make several snacks, lunches, and even a simple turkey sandwich dinner without having to go to the store. Curt & Jody were in close contact with us on the drive down and met us there with the big things-camper, lawn chairs, cooler, rug, bedding, and all the cooking and cleaning supplies I could need. They set up in maybe an hour and it was fantastic! We had a great time at the Fort, my girls say they like it better than a resort! We were in the 1500 loop and I loved being right across from the pool. We were there at peak season and located 2 sites from the bus stop, yet I rarely heard a bus at night. We are booked again for next year, and it cannot come fast enough!

Thank you all so much! I'm going to check the camper rental sites now! Over the next several months, I'm sure I will be all over this site getting all the info I can. We definitely plan on packing as much food as possible and grocery shopping down there somewhere. We are both cheapskates, which will help a lot! lol

Thanks again! I don't know who is more excited, her or me? lol

we have rented from Greenberg RV last july and we will be renting from them this coming November. Their campers are always very clean and new. They are able to come and setup before you even check in, this is nice for us because we typically are arriving later in the night and everything is set up and ready. Super easy to work with as well.
Hope y'all get it all worked out, the Fort make my happy place that much happier!
