Finally booked our flight for the F&W. I bit the bullet with Southwest but we choose to fly down on a friday night instead of saturday morning because of the $$ savings. So we will be spending one night at the Dolphin for cheap, cheap. I still can't believe the cost of flights....they have been outrageous.

I know, fares are really bad! We are in the northeast also. We can't fly Southwest without driving 2 hrs to Philly to get the plane. Allegiant Air flies from an airport about an hour from here with cheap rates, but the flights are always booked....

I noticed you are in the Poconos. A thought for your next trip. We are in the very northern Shenandoah valley of Virginia and now-a-days we take the auto train from Lorton VA to Sanford FL. and back. You get to pack everything you need in your car. If your'e going to the beach you take you own chairs, umbrella, cooler. You don't have to rent a car. The trip is 14 hours, but we get the little sleeper compartment and it is comfortable. Not for everybody and a little more expensive, but no security backups, long lines, rentals, etc. Have a wonderful trip.
