Finally Booked the flights

After what seems like a month of torture I have finally booked our Flights.

It was funny - I saw loads of flights when I did not have the money - yet when I had enough everything seemed to go up - flights that were £515 are now £590! DH and I have spent the last two days looking. And they all seemed to arrive after 10.30pm.

Then out of nowhere today a KLM/Delta flight popped up £489 pp with Last Minute via Kayak.

Our criteria:
1) Under £500
2) Arriving not too late so I could drive when we got to Orlando
3) Our dates - 20/08 to 03/09

Well we almost met the above - only difference is we are flying a day earlier! so an extra day (can't complain at that!!) and we arrive at 6.30pm.

Reasonable connecting times LHR to MCO via Atlanta.

I feel such a sense of relief to finally have the flights done - I'd like to say we could start planning - but truth be told we have already done our ADRs for our 9 days onsite at Disney.

Perfect dates youve got my friend booked same dates for this summer ages ago last April and paid £699 each with Virgin.

we want those dates next summer so would defiantly be tempted to wait like you have done.

Did you book Disney first ??

So glad you got booked, I might get some peace and quiet now only joking, you know I enjoy helping I would have helped more yesterday if my connection had been better, I could connect at home and on my phone but not on work PC.

Jealous!! We're hoping to book this saturday via a travel agent. Trouble is, we're not going till next Sept!! Gives us more time to pay off the holiday though, and get excited. I guess...

Had we known DH could get August off we would have booked long ago - but we decided last month that we could go. We missed staying on-site last year and wanted Disney but all the free dining offers were gone. Someone mentioned US were doing free dining from 25th August to end of September.

Last month I booked 9 nights at the CBR 25/08 to 03/09 for £2000 - this included park tickets and DDP (as US give full dining plan to moderates).

We did not mind going indirect - but i must confess the US airways flights I saw earlier this month would have been better as they had good times and went from Gatwick - to me it seems a lot of the indirect flights land and late times and depart very early. So really pleased to find the times we did.

I love the prices youve got........as well as same dates (for 21013) as you we aslo want so stay on site for 11 days then off site for 5 keep me posted where you decide xxxxx
