We'll I finally could stand it no more and bought our airline tickets! Crazy how expensive it is to fly from Saskatchewan but it was better this time then last time we went. I'd been watching the prices on KAYAK for ages and they just didn't seem to be doing anything and I notice more and more flights disappearing from it so I figured I shouldn't wait any longer. I actually didn't end up getting the cheapest flight I could beacause the times were not the best and two conections both ways. I figured it was worth a few more dollars to get only one plane change and and earlier flight going and a later flight coming home...two plane changes but don't really care as most of the flights had this and at least we were not leaving crazy early in the morning. I don't know about anyone else but I'd rather leave early going somewhere so you get there sooner and leave later coming home so you don't have to get up really early on the last day of your vacation. Of course I may change my mind about being at the airport at 4 in the morning going....thank goodness we only live 5 minutes from the airport....don't think anyones going to take up to the airport that morning :rotfl2:.
So now all I have left to do is order my Discovery Cove/Sea World/Aquatica, get Photopass + and finish paying off Disney! Not sure how I'm going to stand waiting till the middle of August!

I finally signed up for Kayak after hearing several people recommend it.

I booked our flights from Buffalo to Orlando last night at $736 total return for three people on Delta.

I know have price alerts set for several upcoming flights. :thumbsup2

Well I feel a little better as I see my flights have gone up just about ever day since I bought them. Seems to be a fine line on how long to wait before buying them and either they go up or there are no seats on the flight. For me on Delta from Regina ia was 2600 for 5 of us. I looked at flights from Minot but they were actually more expensive. Oh well if you want to go you gave to pay the air fair. Glad you got good prices out of Buffalo.

thanks, I know it's tough...it's like Russian Roulette, you never know when to pull the trigger!

I'm glad we are only a 2.5 hour drive from Buffalo. Those same dates out of Toronto to Orlando are around $1500. We really do get ripped off here with the extra taxes and fees.

I would love to book our flights, even if its only one way however my DH wants to wait for Southwest/airtran to release their flights. Right now we can book with JetBlue for $123 per person from BUF to ORL. There are 3 of us. I don't think we will get any less for November.

Is that price one way or round trip? What dates ?

Glad to hear you finally have them booked:).

I'm a little nervous myself. We are waiting for Southwest and Airtran to open up for our December trip. Right now I could book the four of us for about 1150 with bag fees on United out of Buffalo but they aren't direct flights and we are spoiled by always having non-stops.
I am really hoping Southwest comes in with decent rates but I am doubting it with our dates being so close to Christmas.

The $123 was one way on Nov 17th. Round trip is $844.80, Nov 17-23. It was $123 going down and $159 coming back, per person and about $180 in taxes & fees. I like to book one way at a time as I find I can usually get better deals & don't have to pay so much at once. I just found out Southwest is releasing dates until January on May 6th so maybe they will have some good prices.

Southwest is supposed to be releasing dates until January 2014 on May 6th and airtran should be same say or shortly after.
