Finally! An email code for me for June!

Did the email have an expiration date?
I called yesterday and I told the guy that I had received the email and then deleted it. I asked if he could check my profile for verification that I received the email so I could get the discounted rates. He asked me a bunch of questions that I would assume he would already know (email and snail mail addresses). Then he said there were no discounts at this time any that were out expired in December. I told him I was not interested in booking a room without a discount and then he said "well now we have your email address so maybe you'll get lucky."
That makes me think that maybe he didn't believe me (??) or something. Disney has sent me emails and postcards over the past three years...wouldn't that mean they already have my address? Anyway...hopefully there will be some discounts soon...or else my June trip will not happen!

Oh- I hope I get some kind of special rate or discount soon. DH said we are not paying $166. a nite for POFQ when others are paying $104.00 !! Pixie dust, sprinkle a bit over here !!!

lilfroggie,
Call back and see if you can't get a better answer from another CM. It can't hurt to try. We didn't know about a code when we called; we just wanted a AAA rate, and had earlier been given a quote of $120 a night at POFQ. When we called to book, the first CM gave us a quote of $140 and wouldn't budge. So we hung up and called back, and the second CM went though our entire profile with us (the first one did not do that!), and then gave us the $79 a night quote, which we later found out was due to the code. So, if you try a different CM, you might get a better result. Like I said, it can't hurt to try!

We got a postcard in the mail with this offer and we called twice this week and were also told that the offer expired December 31st. We asked how that was possible but they said that's what the computer showed. Anyone with this problem had any luck? Right now we have the AP rate for peak season but we'd really like to change to 4/19 instead of 4/16 but don't want to book at rack rate since it's more than the peak AP rate.

Well I am pouting because I have never received an email or snailmail discount code. I have been a registered member with Disney for over 3 years and zip, zilch, nada, niente, nothing.....yet I have had people tell me they got a code within a month or two of signing up. I would like to know how Disney picks these people. It seems to be random because there is no logic when collaborating who all gets them.

I, too, am going in June and would love a code. We are wanting to move from a value to a moderate, but the in-laws will only do it if we get a code. :( And it has to be a good one. Not $99 a night for a mod. That is a value rack rate.

same goes for me bytheblood. Don't feel bad.. there are lots of us that have never received anything over the years.

Hi! For those of you who were told the e-mail code expired on Dec. 31st...I would most definitely try another CM. The e-mail itself didn't have an expiration date and when I called about it I was told that as long as there were discounted rooms available I could use it anytime. I specifically asked if I could wait until January because I thought I'd wait until then and he said YES. I ended up going ahead and making reservations before Christmas because I got nervous. I would TRY AGAIN!!

How do you get on an email list from WDW? I am not on one and would like to see about getting on one.
