Finally a restaurant in Disney that has bread* !!!

Might be the Manhattan speaking, but I thought it would be hilarious to post that bread service has been found at a Disney restaurant ( Carthay Circle ) but…. It’s now $10, COVID be damned!

It does come with a little sauce too and it is in fact the best bread ever (or I’ve really missed bread on this trip.)

Pro tip, you can request butter for free and it’s almost like normal bread with dinner!

Woah woah woah… I was at Blue Bayou twice this week and didn’t get any… did you have to ask?

Are they secretly treating 33 members better with the exclusive bread service?!

I'm not a 33 member - just lucky every now and again to have someone make a reservation

I’m here 8 days and make sure to always have table service booked for lunch and dinner so I did two lunches over there and two dinners. Disney doesn’t have as many good table service locations as DCA, so BB gets loaded up a bit more. Did Cafe Orleans once as well for the 3 cheese monte cristo…

I’ve also done (or will do) Lamp Light Lounge, Magic Key Terrace, Carthay Circle (restaurant for dinner and Alfresco for lunch a couple times.) As an adult with no kids, I tend to live it up and go heavy on the sit down nice meals.

Even squeezing one chef’s counter in on Saturday at Napa Rose… I love that so much I can’t wait!

Interesting. I ate at Napa and BB on 10/1 no bread service. Even ask at Napa and they said they had to cut back that position so no bread currently.

When I’m at the chefs counter and they ask what my likes/dislikes are to build my menu I’ll mention I like bread and then just pause and look at the chef

I miss the bread but what I’m bummed about more are the lack of ice cream options . All of my favorite ice cream places were closed during our entire stay, like Cozy Cone ice cream cones.

I think the no bread excuse is kind of bizarre. Does it mean they don't have bakers? It's not that big of a deal to slice bread is it...

We ate at Napa Rose last night and still no bread service. We've been 4 times since June and never any bread.

We had a nice chat with the manager last night and he said they don't have enough kitchen staff to deal with that.

They did finally get in the X Fusion liqueur needed to properly make a Napa Passion (somewhere between July & Oct). And the pork medallion I had last night is one of my favorite entrees I've ever had there.

No, there is a bread team of pastry chefs. They just make the bread. They haven't brought them back yet.

There is absolutely not bread service at Napa Rose. You are mistaken here. I have spoken to staff about this a few times since the reopening.
