Finally A Good Rental Rate For October!

I've been checking and checking for my dates and the rates were always a bit too high for me to book.

Today I used the code Kiss2 at Dollar for the dates of Oct 14-23 (9 days) and the base rate for my economy car was $140 ($189 after all fees). There's just 2 of us so I don't need anything bigger and I think this is a pretty good rate and will continue to check if it goes lower before my trip.

Thanks! I got $202.19 for 11/8 - 11/14 for a minivan. I had a reservation with Alamo before at $232 and could never find anything cheaper.

I tried KISS2, but found that OCVB was better for my dates. it still was not as good for a full size as the ressie I have with Hertz from the SWA special posted here.

thanks I have a mid-size SUV at Alamo, but with this code at Dollar I can get a mini-van (which I prefer for $15 less than the SUV.

Thanks for posting. I've been watching and waiting for October rates. While I'm a National or Alamo girl, I have used Dollar before too and it's OK (just doesn't let you pick out your car or color). I got a full size for 2 weeks for the base about of 118.99 per week. After all taxes and fees my total is $313. I booked a minivan for my daughter for one week (6 days) and her base amount is $158, after taxes and fees her total is $202. I'll still continue to watch the other companies, but at least I have something affordable in case their rates don't get better.

Thanks! I was also hoping to book National (I love the convenience of Emerald Aisle) but their prices are outrageous right now. Booked a full size at Dollar, for 8 days (10/13 - 10/21) for a total of $190.06, with taxes and fees. Signed up for Dollar Express too, and I've read that they send an upgrade coupon when you register, so maybe we'll end up with a premium...

I also am a Dollar Express customer and LOVE walking past the long regular line and straight up front to the express aisle! IT'S FREE and IT ROCKS!

Back to checking on other codes to save even more!

I have tried it for compact, full, economy, intermediate...I did get convertible to work, but it was the code from the Dollar website. I have tried the KISS2 code several times and have not had it work for me.

Thanks, I got a minivan for 8 days for 242 with Dollar and Kiss2. I had about decided to use the Disney transportation and get a transport from the airport. The rental for the transport to OKW was going to be 150 including tip. ( We needed that grocery stop on the way "HOME". We have a baby with us and need all those diapers, etc.) Now for the extra 100 dollars we have a car and it will be sooooo nice to get around without the buses. We are doing the dining plan and hated the idea of having to start out so early to get everywhere for dinner.

PS. For those having trouble with the Kiss2. Go to Dollar and go to United States special. Go to Fl, then to Orlando Airport. Then put Kiss2 in as the discount. It worked for me.
