Finally a buyer's market for BWV?

That answers one of my questions; they're able to split a larger amount into smaller ones, right or is that only possible if there was an original contract and an add-on?

Whole contracts cannot be split. I'm sure this was someone who had an 150 pt contract with a 100 point add on or something to that affect.

Thanks, Dean. I was afraid that was the way it might be. I guess if I ever do look into this, I'd have to shop for a smaller amount.

The prices bottomed a few months ago. I don't believe there were many at the bargain basement price. You have to also include the closing costs and maintenance costs in the points calculations. I followed the boards every day and some of the lowest priced resales were sold the day the went on the board.

We got 150 points with a full year banked and 150 coming next month for around 10K. Some of the best priced packages had all the points borrowed through 2002. With resale values of $10 a point. Having your points for the current year really changes the value. You have to research the points to truly understand what you are getting. A couple of hundred points can change to current value of the package by $2K or so.

You are probably right. The other 150 went for more money. I was told those pts. were $65 each.

The broker called me at work and told me the price and I asked if I could make an offer, although I have been watching the online prices and figured that $60 was a good deal for what I wanted. She said that she had 8 others on her list to call before she would make an offer so I took them.
