I missed the 180-day window for ADR, and have been stalking Disney's website for our May 7-13 trip for the last 4 months to get reservations to BOG and Crystal Palace! I've managed to get a breakfast and lunch reservation for each (4 reservations total), so I know I need to decide which ones to keep and which to cancel. (Yes, I was weird and if I saw a time that I tought might work, I grabbed it and RAN). I want to finilize our dinning plans so I can hash out our final touring plan. This is our first trip so this all all very new to me.

We will be at MK on Friday May 8 and Tuesday May 12. I have a 2.5 year old, so we plan on going back to the hotel for a nap after lunch. Ideally I'd like to leave the park by 1:00. She's usually down for her nap by 1:00, so that is pushing her nap a little later. But I think if we left at 1:00, and we are staying at the POP, she'd be down before 2:00. I hope we will be able to return to the park affter her nap. But it is no guarentee. All our FPs are squeezed in before we leave the park for lunch.

Here is what I have:

Friday May 8th
Breakfast at BOG at 8:35 am.

FP for Cinderella and Rupenzel 10-11
FP to meet Ariel 11-12
Lunch Crystal Palace 12:05 pm.
FP Peter Pan Flight 1:10-2:10 (Which BTW we might skip or swap since its so close to nap time)

Tuesday May 11
Breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:25 am.

FP for 7DMT 9:10-10:10 (we might swap this out since it might not approriate for DD).
FP for Enchanted Tales with Bell at 10:10-11:10.
Lunch at BOG at 11:25pm.
FP for Anna and Elsa at 12:30-1:30 (I will make this work no matter how tired DD is - lol).

Here are my thoughts ...

For BOG ... I've heard that the breakfast at BOG isn't all that great - expensive for what you get. So I am inclined to cancel my breakfast for BOG on Friday 5/8. Plus if we went to BOG for lunch on Tuesday 5/11 at 11:25, we would go right from Tales with Bell (10:10-11:10) to BOG at 11:25. It would be convient since they are right next to each other. If I did this what time do you suggest I get in line for Tales with Bell to be done on time for our 11:25 BOG lunch reservation?

For Crystal Palace ... Here is where I am really torn ... I like the idea of having breakfast there just so we can get into the park early and get some good pictures in front of the castle without a lot of people. But that would mean that we would do the 8:25 breakfast on Tuesday 5/11. I have two concerns with a 8:25 breakfast at Crystal Palace. 1. Is that too late and will cut into our early morning touring too much? and 2. That is the same day that we would be doing lunch at BOG ... would two "longer" meals like that be too much to do in one day with a little one? And really cut into our touring the park?

Ideally I'd want to do crystal palace and BOG on different days. If I do them on different days, then I'd have to do the Friday 5/8 12:05 lunch reservation at Crystal Place. But then if I did that ... I would not have any breakfast reservations to get those empty park pictures that I really want. See my delima?!?!? Unless I kept a breakfast reservation just to get in, but then did not show to breakfast and pay the "no show" fee. Seems silly to do that though.

We do plan to be there at rope drop (or earlier if we had breakfast reservations). And one day I do plan to head straight for Merida, since I heard the waits for that can get long.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly apprechiated.

This is our first trip. And might be our only trip, so I am trying to schedule as much in as I can without over scheduling my family!

We had an 11:25 BOG lunch this weekend. We did ETWB just prior with a fast pass. While there was only a very short wait, it would have had us wait a few extra minutes without it. All told, we arrived at our ADR at 11:22. I think we entered the FP entrance just shy of 11am.

Do you think doing Crystal Palace for breakfast and BOG for lunch is too much in one day? Would it be better to break them up over two days?

I would do them both in the same day if they were a little further apart. We have a CRT breakfast and BOG lunch scheduled for the same day, but breakfast is at 8:05 and lunch is at 12:55. Any closer and I would feel like it was too much, I think.
