Final Verdict-Wired Internet Dark?

I was at the GF in March and had to use a wired connection the wifi was awful I even called and they could not get it connected. I am really worried about my connection next month at SSR and WLV. I have to work and if I do not have internet, I get fired. I am an online instructor and run my own business so it is a necessity.

If it is really that important, you may want to look at an "air card" which uses the cell phone signals to connect to the web. Since you own the business, I would think that the "business" could buy it for you.

Also, most smartphones can be used as a wireless hotspot. It typically requires some service plan change with the carrier but purchasing just one month's coverage is usually an option. With my iPhone on AT&T, I can add the hotspot feature for one month at $30 then remove it before the next billing cycle.

Just confirming what others have posted: wired is gone from OKW and BWV. (Didn't try it at THV.)

However, contrary to what others have posted, wireless worked fine for me at both OKW and THV, and, so far, it's working fine for me at BWV.

(All in the past 2 weeks).

Naw, just keep an eye out for a usb WiFi dongle. Last one i bought cost me $9... Just plug it into a usb port and install the software. Done.

This is the one i got for $9 on sale.

this is another one from the same company. Any manufacturer will work i just picked this one for no real reason. I also have a DLink one that works great.

Thanks! I am getting too old to keep up with all of the fancy schmancy technology! I had no idea there was such a thing!
