FINAL LIST 10/28/11 - 9th Annual DVC Christmas Tree Exchange

Checked into the Beach Club Villas today but no one could find a package for us. We checked with bell services, the front desk and the business center. If the person who mailed it could verify how it was mailed and who signed for it, hopefully that might help?

My bad! I shipped the tree early last week thinking that it would get to BCV by Friday or Saturday at the latest. It took an entire day for the tree to get to the FedEx facility in the town 10 minutes away from us! I apologize to NHPixidust family! I'm glad they finally got it, and I hope they are enjoying both the tree and their vacation.

I just wanted to say thank you to Kitsch4 for letting us use their Christmas tree - it was themed perfectly for the Beach Club Villas. I don't want to spoil it for the other families, but you will love it!
And thank you to Mr Shiny for coordinating the swap.
We are still here for a few more days and loving every minute of.

Ok, I think BLT tree 1 has been found. Talked with Carol at Contemporary Bell Services and it is sitting on a shelf there!

Here is apparently the key - din't ask for a tree - just ask for a BOX. It seems they might not realize the tree is in a box!

So nice of you to donate. We are happy to have any tree! Do you still not need it until the 21st (as per our emails)? I want to make sure I get it taken back to bell services in time.

Well, stuff happens! WDWSTAR's tree was apparently DESTROYED by UPS! But hey, it's Christmas! More people are getting trees than missing.

Those remaining - PLEASE note the following - post here or email me:

NAME of person you hand the tree to
Dept. of person (FRONT DESK, BELL SERVICES, other?)

This can REALLY help tracing an errant tree that did make it to WDW!

@stacy, our "plan" is to make rope drop the 22nd and not head back to AKL till late so if you want to just give it to Bell services when you check out on the 22nd that will be fine...have a magical trip!!

We are enjoying VWL tree #1, and will be giving it to Bell Services on Friday for the last people on the list. There were so many little extras included, thank you to those who had the tree before us! Our DGC visited us over that weekend and they loved the tree, and i'll be posting pictures when I get home!

Thanks to all for making this all happen. bobbi....the tree was so nice and Thank You for the beautiful ornament. The only downside to this all was that my wife would not let me go to sleep at nights with the lights on. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

And SSR tree #1 was just fine. Other sharers actually cut out my inside list and added the name of the next person in the "ship to" space, so the next name is on the box twice. Seems to be working well, so I should remember that for next year.

My kids actually asked to use the tree for a night light.

I didn't see any outside lights up, and our balcony faces the parking lot this year, so I was too chicken to put ours out. However, I am using the door hanger, and I haven't gotten any complaints. DD put the window clings on the bathroom mirror, and we are looking very festive!
