We got up early Saturday morning to shower, finish packing and check out of BLT. It was raining and we decided that it was WDW shedding tears for our departure.

Bell Services came and took our luggage to the car and took away our fully packed Owner's Locker then we headed upstairs to Chef Mickey's where we had a 9:50am ADR. Notice the birds were there for breakfast too. This is one of our favorite breakfast buffets. The hashbrown casserole is the bomb.

We got our final character pictures then piled in the car for the 860 (give or take a mile) drive home. It was uneventful until we stopped in Cordele Georgia for gas and lunch and I left my beloved Goofy hooded jacket hanging on the back of a chair at Arby's Hopefully we can find a new one on a future trip.

We had a great time at WDW despite the weather and DW and I hope you have enjoyed our TR and photos. We are now counting down 518 days until our next trip for DD's Sweet 16. Shhhhh it's a surprise.

Happy planning your next one. I (hubby and big sons stayed home) took my daughter to celebrate her 16th at WDW two years ago. My sister came, my daughter and three of her friends.

Our first adults only trip was during the F&W. It was a great time of the year. Planning for Sweet 16 will be long, but we will get by, that's to others posting there TR and PTR's. 518 days should be a breeze. We will be busy with life, kids and work.

I just found your trip report and read it this morning. It was great. Thank you for taking the time to post it. It looks like you and your wife had a fabulous time. I love WDW at Christmas, unfortunately it is hit or miss with the weather. Being from Dallas I don't like being cold, especially on vacation. So we haven't been at Christmas time since 2004.

I hope things happen again. 2008 and 2004 were great. Why not 2012. Every 4 years sounds like fun!!

Yippee, yah, yippee, yah, so what made you change your mind? When I first mentioned it to you, you said you had other plans.

Would love to come and visit you during Spring Break but I won't have the time off this year and next year the July trip will take pretty much all of it. Maybe 2013.

Works for me as long as I get to spend a little time with you before you cruise and get to meet your newest family member and you get to meet my momma I'll be happy.
