Fill up the Tinker Bell bag!!!

I have entered a mental block so I'm looking to my fellow DIS'ers for help.

Tinker Bell will be visiting my DD who will be almost 6 years old at the time of our trip, the morning we leave out. We will be driving from NC to Orlando which is about 11 hours for us. We've done long trips with her before, going up to Buffalo, NY.

Tink has already got her a bookbag to leave and hold all her loot. She also has gotten her a new Disney DVD she hasn't gotten yet. What are some other things Tink can pack for her?

A friend of mine had the idea of putting a little note and wrapping the gifts. On each gift put "Open when you see a X" to prolong the opening of gifts and keep her interested. So some ideas on what X could be would help as well. I want to space it out a little and I've never been to FL so I'm not sure what we'll see on the ride down.

All ideas are greatly appreciated! 196 days to go!

Oh I also wanted to add that we will be going to the WWoHP and to SW as well and DD loves all of those things as well. So feel free to add some of those ideas as well.

I don't know if you have a Michaels craft store but ours had lots of $1 Tinkerbell things- lanyards, markers, crayons, activity pads etc.

Yes, Michael's had tons of Disney stuff as did Big Lots and Dollar Tree. When we do a long drive we usually say they can open something every hour. They can watch the closck on their own. Does she have a DS? If so, we saw lots of $9 games at Big Lots last night. They also had some cheap travel games like Guess Who. (Not many pieces.) My kids like the Crayola window markers, they color all over the glass and then wipe off with Wondex wipes and start over. My girls all have clip boards so they can write or draw easier in the car. My girls also like to make scrap books on the ride home, so that may be an option for the drive home. We preprint papers that they sill out about their trip and then when we get home we fill them with photos. If you think she may be into pin trading, buy some of those too. My kids spent a fortune on pins last trip (at the time they were 6 and 9, my oldest didn't get into it.) We bought a ton of pins for their Easter baskets this year. We got them lanyards at Michaels.

When Tinkerbell has brought DD gifts (the past 2 trips), she brings her:

Coloring books and crayons/markers
Stickers
A small notebook (DD likes to draw)
New pajamas for the trip
A new t-shirt
A few pins for trading
DVDs for the trip
New sunglasses
New books to read in the car
Coloring/stamper set (from the $1 store)
Wizards of Waverly Place Color Wonder set (got it at Wal-Mart in the arts and crafts section)

She didn't get ALL this stuff at once - it was a variety spread out over the 2 trips!

We just gave her the whole bag before we left on the trip along with a letter from Tinkerbell.

ETA: If you wanted to wrap some things separately so she could space out the opening, you could have her open a new one for each state you enter - probably South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida? Maybe 2 in Georgia - that's a big state. I don't really know any other landmarks along your route though.

Great ideas guys! I've got a Michael's in the next town so I'll have to hit it up and look to see if mine has anything we could use. Dollar store is a good idea as well! I don't know if she would be a good pin trader, she has some hoarding tendencies so she probably wouldn't want to give any of her's up.

I will definitely look into Big Lots as well for some games!
