I did that- I wanted something different for Star Wars- I am doing a darth vader PP for the MGM Swap as one of my pieces. I used a coloring book and traced and then cut it on my craftrobo.

I want that file! (Just kidding...) Can you, I guess, in a PM, tell me how you do that? It probably took you forever...

Rats...no craftrobo here. I'll have to look for a coloring book and see if I can do a paper piece without the help of my cricut! Great job Rebecca!

wow it is all amazing! I'm done but missed todays mail so I can mail tomorrow and overnight it ...I love that stormtrooper too...so does this mean I need to find out about that craft robo?? i should so join the ban....

Actually if you can find a clear coloring page online it is really easy- Thick lines are better than thin ones for making paper piecings. First you download it as a bitmap. If things seem to connected together i will bring it into my Photoshop Elements and take out some of the lines by adding white paint- Everything needs to be defined. Then you open up robomaster and load the image in (it works best if you save it as a bitmap but a jpeg works also). Then have it autotrace. When it autotraces it does both sides of the tick lines. Take the outside piece as your mat and then you have all the other sections to work up from. I actually hand traced some of the pieces of this one because they wouldn't come out on the coloring page- The one I got for Darth though I got great pieces without having to hand trace. I always use the spline (the rounded one) to hand trace unless it is a straight line. I sperate the pieces and change the colors so I know what to cut them with and then cut out and ink and piece together.

Noe that I have the file I can make more in about 25 minutes including the cutting time- I can make up to 4 at once with the size paper I have so that isn't bad. Originally doing the file took a few hours though.

Thanks! I've already done some of that for my pieces in the MGM swap. I want to do a Little Einsteins logo for the Elements swap, but I only have Clipart. I'm going to see what I can do with that. I probably need photoshop, but I'm going to try my best! :) (I really am enjoying the Craft robo! :) Thanks for your advice...)

Yeah, that storm trooper knocked my socks off when I opened it up!

Thanks for the update, happypooh. Let me know when it does go postal.

Mine are postal express so you should get it by noon tomorrow. I did take some photos and will try and post later. I'm not happy with one of my elements and will think about it more and if I come up with anything I'll resend those to the individuals in that group (the shows/parades one) with dream along with mickey - too much stickles. Not sure I like stickles much. Any tips for using it?
I like the monorail element as I got to use my cuttlebug mickey emboss/cut plate for the first time and enjoyed using that. Sorry again for holding this swap up...am now starting on the next swap as I don't want to late on that one!

Thanks for letting me know, I'll let you know when they arrive. If they do arrive tomorrow, I will mail everyone's back on Friday.

I did receive Happypooh's items today and swapped everything out this evening. I decided I'd rather go to the post office with my tower of boxes when no one else was around, so I used the Automatic machine to mail out everything except for the 2 UK ladies. I will go back tomorrow during the day to mail those out. I'll start the return thread so you can let me know when they arrive.

Thanks for being such great swappers! I think you will all be happy with your packages. Thanks to those of you who sent goodies, too. It was not necessary, but appreciated!
