Does DVC get entered anywhere in my taxes?

My taxes are very straight forward so I do them myself each year.

I purchased DVC (out of pocket) in 2012.

Is there anything I need to put in my taxes pertaining to DVC or can I just go ahead as usual?

You may be able to deduct the actual property taxes paid for the tax year you are filing for. You can get the amount from the your annual dues statement.

If you itemize deductions and depending on your individual tax situation, you may be able to deduct the Actual Property Taxes paid for 2012. The Actual Property Taxes are listed on your dues statement that you received in the mail (also available online).
