Figment's Back!!!

<font face="comic sans ms"> Mr. Dan Murphy told us that today was the Grand Opening of Journey Into Imagination. Lisa and I went over there today a couple of hours after Epcot opened. I warned her that the line might be horrendous, but it was only a 10 minute wait. I guess people don't know about it quite yet. It was very cute, and I enjoyed it a lot. We also, ahem, bought some Figment merchandise.

That is great news Dayna - it was always one of my favorites at EPCOT and I'm glad Disney finally came to their senses!

Katelyn will be THRILLED! She boycotted it on her last 2 visits, absolutely REFUSING to go on it after hearing about poor Figment's fate!!

Now, Jared and I HAVE to ride it on our trip next week, so we can report back to her!! heehee

they brought Figgy back into the limelight. I sure missed him. Can't wait to see him again. I remember the first time I went to Disney in 1989 and rode this ride. I immediately bought a plush Figment with the yellow and red sweater and still have him to this day. It brings back wonderful memories of my time there. Even though I went solo, I still felt the magic and marvelled at the display of pixie dust all over the place.
