wow! I love the placecards and your stamps are just wow! :)

I'm not vanessa, but here you go!

Mickey and Minnie Mouse:
The Walt Disney Company
500 S Buena Vista St
Burbank, CA 91521

President:
The President and Mrs. Bush
The White House
Attn: Greetings Office
Washington, D.C. 20502-0039

HTH!!

I love your placecards Vanessa! I can't believe how quickly your wedding is coming up!

We sent an invite to Minnie & Mickey. We got our response in the mass of mail we received when we returned from Paris. I thought it was cute that it was postmarked 12/14/07-- our wedding day! That's the only "celebrity" we sent an invite to, but I'm so glad we did it!!

Wow I love those placecards! I'm using your Mickey jewel idea now :cutie:

I was at the craft store looking at all their wedding stuff... trying to figure out something simple and cute to decorate the outside of our save the dates envelopes. Then, I came home, slightly disappointed with nothing in hand, went on DIS, read your latest update...and now I am totally inspired and shall go to the craft store again.

And... I just ordered some stamps from zazzle too. YEAH!

What would I do without these boards!??!?

Everything looks great - you are my inspiration. By the way - love that song. It has a great disco beat - can you tell I am a product of the 70's - I love disco. I am sure it will be great dancing to a slower version of it.

We have not picked out our song yet and would love to take dance lessons. Definately something to think about.

Linda

It was funny because I had never heard it before until Kris picked it. :cool1: I actually sent him a bunch of lists from the Knot that listed top wedding songs and it was on there. The dance lessons have been fun. It's not too terribly expensive either- we pay $40 for each 1 hour lesson.

Wowee! You are getting so much done - great job! You will be my inspiration...

You know, I sent an invite to Donald & Daisy about 3 months ago but haven't heard back. Maybe only Mickey & Minnie reply to invites? :sad1:

I'm not sure... which address did you use? The one in Burbank?

Not a problem, I have them printed off in my notebook at home. I have a board meeting after work tonight that usually runs pretty late, so if I don't get it up tonight I will make sure to post it tomorrow. :goodvibes Whoops just noticed that Kendra was able to post it. Thanks!

That is so cool, was it the signed picture of them in front of the castle?

My next project is the photo box like you used for your card box!

I love your new siggy, I can't wait to read your TR :cheer2:

I know the boards have been a great help to me too. I actually got the idea for the Mickey heads from someone who put smaller ones on a unity candle. Good luck on your hunt and I can't wait to read what you come up with for the Save the Dates :goodvibes

Here is my latest newsletter that I sent out earlier this week:

As you can see I made some group reservations at restaurants for that week and I'm hoping to get people to join us at all of them. :mickeybar I've already had several replies and a couple of the meals of filled up. The reservations were all for between 18-25 people.

I'm hoping I have spelled out everything for people to make it as easy as possible for them. I still have a ton of people that haven't made their reservations yet which makes me nervous. Our block is only until February 2. Kris' mom hasn't even done her room yet and only one member of our bridal party has her reservations :scared:

I have at least received several RSVPs from the invites only 4 so far our of the 45 that went out

Wow your newsletter is so thorough!! It's great! What a great idea to make group reservations! I know where we are going to eat and was going to make reservations, maybe I need to leave room for people to join us! Ugh! More to think about! I just tried to make a reservation for the day after the wedding for everyone to eat at chef Mickeys- they didnt have room for us :sad2: Now I dont know what to do!

I have you tried calling Group Reservations directly? What they did for me was for some of the slots we have two separate reservations- for example, one might be for 10 people and the other for 8 people. They then told me to arrive a little early at the restaurant to see if they could at least seat us close together. I don't have the Group Reservations number with me, but I could post it this weekend if you need it. For the morning after your wedding check with your coordinator. My planner's assistant made the contact for me at 1900 Park Fare for our post-wedding brunch. Good luck :goodvibes

vanessa,

the newsletter looks AMAZING! i'm so impressed with it. i should have done something like this...it would have bee so much easier to pass all the info along. your extra events look really fun! i like how you put the cost and all the info in there so your guests could plan!

Thanks, Caryn! I've had to make sure that I spend extra time on them because my family knows that in my work :surfweb: I know how to do layout for brochures, etc. so I have to keep up my professional reputation ;)

I tried to plan a lot of the reservations and activities since we have a lot of Disney newbies coming down for the wedding. I think I'm going to have to put someone else in charge of my cellphone while we're there though because I think everyone will expect me to be their personal tourguide!
