Figment - What happened to this ride?

The original was classic. The upstairs was amazing it's such a waste just sitting there.

I really loved the White Room in the old version. And upstairs used to be such fun, even for me as an adult.

I have to agree with everyone else - this video is AWESOME. Definitely took me back to my childhood and reminded me of what it used to be over there. The ride today is a complete sham compared to the glory days. Ugh.

I miss the original as well and was heartbroken when Figment went away. I do admit that I find the current version to be very entertaining in a cheesetastic way. Enough so that I dragged DH on it three times last week. It might even be my favorite ride at Epcot (I'm a bit ashamed to admit that but Mission Space makes me sick, the new Test Track is boring, and there are too many bad seats on Soarin')

I don't know if this is true, or not. But, I was reading somewhere that the Imagineers were thinking about adding the DreamFinder character back into the ride somehow. Plans to do it were going to take place in about two, or three years I think. I hope that is true. The DreamFinder was such a great guy. And he, and Figment were so happy, and looked so well together. I got to meet him once when he, and Figment were doing meet-n-greets outside of the ride back in the 1990s. He, and Figment both made my day much more magical during the times that I got to see them.

I'd have to agree that the latest version of the ride is not as much fun as the original version.
