I just read on here someone posted that they thought they heard the Figment Ride may be closing??? Aww I hope not I am a 46 year old kid and I absolutely love that ride! They should have put that ride over in the Magic Kingdom in Tomorrow Land I think it would have done better with the little kids there , not so hidden away , I mean really how many people walk by that ride cause you just dont see it! So sad if this is true.

There were a bunch of rumors floating around this summer (end of July?) that Journey into Imagination and Captain EO would be closed starting early January 2014. Journey into Imagination for a long refurbishment and closing Captain EO for good. Then Tony Baxter said some pretty strange things at D23 and got people talking - I found them posted on youtube. Bob Iger also came out and promised Figment wasn't going anywhere. To date there have not been any official announcements or Disney confirmation. I was just down and asked a few CMs, not that you get the story straight there. Several said the refurbishment was "on hold". The one CM that seemed to be a major Disney fan and follower and not just a person who works there to have a job, said that it was still happening but delayed. She also said that it wasn't currently scheduled to be a long enough refurb to redo the whole ride, so they are quite curious what is going on. She agreed that all the Tony Baxter/D23 talk was very suspicious and was also hoping for a Dreamfinder/Figment reunion. Fingers crossed!
