fights in the world

Do you make rude folks a part of your touring plans. Is it interesting to dwell on a very small group of people.WDW is just like everywhere you go in this world ,yes you have fights and rude people. This thread does not violate any posting guidelines yet but aren't you more interested on all the magic and good things about WDW and advice on how to have a great experience at WDW than chat on something that is not going to help you one bit in planning your WDW experience. Danny

For me its kinda cathartic in that, having read it here, I'm more easily able to laugh it off there!

has anyone ever had a fight or confrontation with a another guest or a cm while in the world? :confused3

I have witnessed a confrontation in the World Showcase. My GF & I were walking, when we heard two men yelling and screaming. There was a middle aged couple, probably in their early to late 40's and an elderly couple. The Younger man was smoking while in line for something (this is what I overheard), and he wasn't supposed to. So, the older man said something and they broke out in a heated verbal confrontation (no fists thrown). It was interesting...not something you would think of at WDW.

A few years ago, at AK we were watching the parade right up in front. As it started this family came and pushed through everyone to get to the front. They were really rude about it. One of women was a Little Person. We moved out of her way and let her move in front of us. Well the little person sat down, right on my husband's foot!! I don't mean sat on part of it, I mean like it was her very own chair. My dh kept saying excuse me over and over. They did not speak english and totally ignored him. I tapped her on the shoulder and pointed to my husband's foot, nicely at first and then I told her MOVE! She just looked at me and turned away. Who sits on a man's foot?!!! By now dh's foot is going numb. I told him to nudge her and he said he was trying to move his foot but she was heavy and he felt really uncomfortable wiggling his foot around her butt. I couldn't believe she would not move. I was SO mad-then I looked at dh and saw the total emotional anguish he was feeling. Being the horrible wife that I am, I went from furious to uncontrollable laughter. It was just so unreal!! My dh did not appreciate my sense of humor at the first but then he got the giggles too. It was just so ridiculous. She stayed on his foot for the whole parade! .

Has nothing to do with Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies so I have moved it to our Theme Parks CB where it is a better fit. Danny

The only time I have had a real argument with soemone was when a very rude group of teens pushed my son out of the way to get on the bus at DTD. There were a few of them and a couple of the girls apologized for the behavior of the group, after I called them out on it. I don't like to just sit there and let people walk all over me or my family becuase then they think its ok so sometimes and I have to voice my opinion

Seriously, I am going to have nightmares about that! That is the perfect storm!

The only fight we ever saw was in line at the Haunted Mansion in DisneyLand. Two grown men had what can be best described as a bar room type argument. Cursing, shouting. They chilled out before one of the burly type dads in line could "quiet" them down. Uggh

PS: just remembered...we saw a family fight on the Shades of Green bus last year. A large extended family was having some sort of royal meltdown. Tears, sobbing and hissyfits...and that was just the adults.

Sadly, I flipped out on SIL last year while we were at DHS. She invited herself along on our vacation and DH was too nice to tell her that we'd prefer to have our first trip to WDW all to ourselves.

Long story short, she belittled and criticized me (and my DD) all day long and I finally lost it just before Fantasmic seating (show ended up being cancelled due to lightning anyway). I flipped out on her and said a LOT of nasty things to her. I wish I could say I regret doing it, but the truth is that I don't. She's been a butt to me for years! But if you happened to witness it, I am sorry that you had to see/hear it.
