Fight at Toys R Us, Swearing At Walgreens....Merry *^%$#)! Xmas!

Friday afternoon my dh & I saw a fight break out at TRU over a Leap Pad book. DH saw one man tackle another, we heard the crash of the table of toys hitting the floor. (We were running AWAY from the area).

Today at Walgreens I heard 2 men arguing at the check-out. One said "F*&^ You", the other said "God D*&^ Moron." Not sure what that was about, except one guy was on his cell phone the whole time. Again I was running away from the area. I had my 4 yo with me. Nice language!

I think I'll just do all my shopping on-line from now on!

I stay away from the Malls the day after Thanksgiving. There are some crazy crazyyy people out there. ONline shopping is my best friend.

My DH has a very tainted view of Christmas after working for Toy R Us for 10 years. The company is great, the shoppers aren't! He broke up a fight between two women over a Holiday Barbie. They were slugging it out right there in the isles. And he had the same problem with a guy over Hot Wheels cars. People are unbelievable!!

Then there are the people who try to break the doors down because they are late getting to the store and it closed!

I ran into that exact kind of thing early Friday morning at KB toys and at Toys R Us. I left both stores because I was in such a good holiday mood I didn't want such wonderful behavior to spoil it. I too have done a lot of shopping at home except for one night when my Mom and I went to our local mall for An Evening of Giving which is always so nice.

One year on Christmas Eve DH's car got keyed at the mall. Someone was waiting for a spot, but then they left. We saw them leave and thought great, we can take the spot. I guess they still thought the spot was theirs even if they werent waiting for it, because we came out to a huge scrape down the side of the car. I assume it was that guy, even though it didnt make sense.
Another year I was going to CVS and there is only a tiny parking lot there. Someone stole an old lady's spot and she rolled her window down and yelled out 2 words...they werent "Merry Christmas!".

I just came back from ToysRus, no fights while I was there! I went to pick up the new GBA Kirby game (can't remember the name), but they were not at the store yet. After I get this, I'll be done with my shopping!

Someone stole an old lady's spot and she rolled her window down and yelled out 2 words...they werent "Merry Christmas!".

Camcolt~ I guess children aren't the only ones that misbehave!

I was one of four at the Kmart at 5 am, no problems...

I never have seen that around here.. some may get a little nasty, like tone of voice but no cursing or fistfights...
