If you make an offer on Fidelity, does the listing immediately disappear? Just asking because that just happened to me and I found it odd. Thanks!

We just passed ROFR on a contract through Fidelity.

We made our offer on Thursday, agent confirmed our terms and presented it. We didn’t hear anything and it was gone when I checked Friday. I, like you thought we may have lost it to someone else. Monday morning we got an email that our offer was accepted! Shocking to say the least but we were thrilled. So don’t give up hope yet!

Well…we’ll see! I really do not need this contract but it was an incredibly good deal in my use year at a difficult to find location. The math said I had to offer on it!

Funny when I made my offer recently they didn’t confirm my offer terms and an hour later someone called me and started chatting about closing etc and I’m like oh did they accept my offer ?? Otherwise I had no issues with them - but their listings can disappear rather fast at times

I've had a couple weird experiences with Fidelity in the last couple weeks. Two times, I made an offer on their website. I got the automatic email that said, "One of our Licensed Real Estate Agents will be in touch soon to go over the details and next steps."

Both times, no one contacted me to confirm the terms of my offer. The first time, someone emailed me 3 days later to say the seller rejected my offer, no counter. The second time, I got no response and then the listing was removed. These were half hearted offers so not a big deal, but if it was a listing I really wanted, I would call them to confirm they received the offer. I was told once by Fidelity that the agent had not received my offer online and it was a good thing I called. This was a 25 point BCV that I really wanted.

I actually made an offer on a Fidelity contract last night. I received the automated email but haven't heard anything else. I noticed the business hours are Min-Fri so I guess I'll call Monday if I haven't heard anything.
It was not a full price offer and the contract was just listed yesterday so I don't have my hopes up too high.

Good idea for the call on Monday. I have put 8 offers in with Fidelity since March. One time recieved no response, 2 other times broker called to confirm offer and no further contact. 5 times the brokers were very responsive.

If it is a contract that you are seriously pursuing you should be prepared to push through the resistance/communication glitches.

Having bought quite a few contracts through Fidelity, I know that the first person to offer full price (or over) gets it. The contract then disappears online. Perhaps the owner had given direction that the first offer at a certain amount should be accepted?

Hope you got it!

Some agents will call you back on the weekend. It just depends on who has the listing. It would not hurt to call that agent and leave a message!

Good luck!

That would be pretty wild! It was fully loaded at a good price, so I get the feeling somebody just wanted it gone.

The website went immediately to the page where it said the listing was “on vacation” after I pressed the button to submit my offer, which was odd, but I also got a confirmation email. Very strange!
