Fidelio and Anton?

I cruised in August 2003 on the 7 day Eastern. Fidelio and Anton were my favorite entertainment on the ship! Not long after our cruise was over, some of the entertainment venues on the ship were rehabbed and their show was eliminated. Does anyone know their whereabouts? There was some discussion initially that maybe Fidelio was headed to NYC. Thanks for any information that you have.

Fidelio is playing in upstate NY, I think. His fan club is still alive and well on the boards and some have recently seen him play. I'm sure they can give details.

Anton has apparently, like Phillip Michael Thomas, retired from the entertainment industry....

Fidelio is in Upstate NY...Playing at Turning Stone Casino...Seems to be doing well...
He even played the ships horn for me with a little ocean backround music! He is wonderful!
He is trying to get back on the ships but will be in NY until at least Sept.

I'm with Fidelio at the Turning Stone Casino in upstate NY. I'm letting him use my post reply to log on; and here he is:
"Hello to Everyone" Especially the founder of the "Where's Fidelio Fan Club" Rae & family Also an extra special thanks to my friends(Fans sounds to informal) from Erie, PA. Allenstown, PA. Fairmont & Cicero, NY. Syracuse & White Plains, NY. Toronto & Montreal, Canada.
These crazy folks drove out from their hometowns just to see & say hello The wonderfully magical thing about it is that some of them never sailed along when I was doing the Dueling Pianos onboard the Magic/Wonder. They heard about me either through the Disboards, Rae 's word of mouth (both in person/on the Ship or at WDW) & thru Email and Last but not Least, All the Great comments made by Everbody who remembers the zany fun in OffBeat!
Again a Giant Thanks to All!!!

I was offered to fill in on the Wonder for Dueling Pianos and most recently the Cadillac Lounge. Unfortunately the offer came in a day after I resigned with the Casino. I will be there until the end of Sept. 2004. I've met so many "big names", Engelbert, Lorreta Lynn, Jewel, Beach Boys, Todd Rungren, George Carlin, Don Rickles, Styx, 4 Tops, Temptations, Toby Keith, Winona for starters. Frank Sinatra jr. is due this week with Pat Benetar, B-52's & Wierd Al to follow.
I want Everyone to know that I truly hope to be on DCL again. I'm Honored by your continuous support, posts and visits. I've been told by crew & guests that my name is constantly mentioned. Oh by the way; for the person who always seems to post a negative comment everytime I have a bunch of compliments. . . Thanks also. Good or Bad as long as you remember me; I did my job
Well, I've got to go. Take care and a Big Thanks to Phantom. For some reason I still can not log on as Fidelio or the Piano Guy. I get the welcome/one moment screen, then back to the sign in again Oh well.

I forgot to mention Anton is doing very well he keeps in touch with Fidelio. He is now performing in Amsterdam at a Dueling Piano Club called "Crazy Pianos".

Aw Nutz. I was hoping that you meant Amsterdam, NY. You mean AMSTERDAM the country. That's a bit too far for this fan and her DD to travel to.

When DD went off to her freshman year at college, one of the first things that she did was display the picture of her and Anton. No pictures of the parents.....

I also hope that you're on the repo cruises. Continued success to you and Anton.

I've actually been to the Crazy Pianos in Rotterdam (used to live in Den Haag), and had a great time. The Dutch know how to party!

Fidelio, it was great to see you back in April with our friends from Akron, PA at Easter weekend. We are going on the 3 day in Aug. and were hoping you would be there. Maybe we will make a trip out to see you again at the Casino. Hope all is well. Albert is still in the neighborhood and his pool is open and the fence is still falling down.
