Hi everyone!!!

Just in from our final football game of the regular season. We won.. Record of 9 and 1. Next weekend off and then the playoffs.

Just fighting this cold, the rest is not so bad today. Thankfully. My hairdresser is coming over this afternoon to do my streaks. I can not wait.

I hope everyone is having a great Saturday, and has a nice weekend.

It is Thanksgiving here and it will be a nice family dinner tomorrow night.

I was in Montana earlier this year. I couldn't take the weather...too cold. It was in July! I'm a southern girl....I don't think I could make it up north. It's a beautiful sunny day here...81 degrees. I'll take it!

It was definately worth it. DH and I had a 24 hour date.

We spent the day touring around Boise and then went to see the concert. We went to a couple of pubs afterwards and just had a blast together. It was really cold but so much fun.

I slept in today and my arms are finally feeling better.
I could lay on my sides last night because my arms hurt so much!

Afternoon to all. Had a pretty decent weekend. I had an MRI Saturday morning so we'll see what that reveals. Even though I have fibro I'm being watched for MS since they do tend to mimic many symptoms but lately they are leaning more towards the MS side.

I have tomorrow off again too so I'm looking forward to that!

for the results. My last Dr's appt he was talking about MS, and I just did not want to hear it. I am due back for my MRI and spinal tap in November, but I have to reschedule now that we booked our cruise. Reminds me to take out that appt paper.

Yes, my hairdresser is a great gal!! She is a single mom, so supplements her income this way. Works out great for all of us. She does my hair and my children's and it costs me next to nothing, and she does a fabulous job. That said, she canceled Sat , but is doing it tomorrow night after work..

Hi everyone. I have lurked on this thread for a while but have hesitated posting. If it's not too personal, do y'all have an elevated Sed rate with Fibro?I've had one (high sed) since March. It's been retested twice and is still high - currently 77. I've had an MRI of the brain to rule out MS, ultrasounds of the, well, personals and abdomen, kidneys, etc. all normal. I saw a Rhuematologist but missed my second appointment due to Hurrican Ike. (I need to reschedule.) Anyway, I share y'alls symptoms and, like someone else posted, I just want to know what it is. Sorry to interrupt if you need to be "official" to post here. Was just wondering about y'all's sed rates. Thanks for reading.

I had an elevated sed rate once and that's what initially brought me to the Rhuemy. She was concerned it was Lupus. I have my sed rate checked on a regular basis and aside from that one time its never been elevated again. I was tooling right along with the fibro until more things started going wrong. Hence the MS testing.
I've seen many instances where people are diagnosed with Fibro and than later with MS. Don't know if its a precursor or since they share so many symptoms it gets overlooked.
I see an MS nuero on a regular basis and have my MRI's about every 6 months. So far nothing conclusive has shown up but all the symptoms are there.

Please keep Shugadrawers in your thoughts this morning as she is having her surgery. I'll update when I hear something.

I have elevated Sed rates. I am not sure you have to for Fibro, as my Rheumy told me I had it prior to those results coming in. It was for other things.

I will definitely be thinking and praying for Shug today

I went back for an hour and a half, and am doing doing housework like nuts to catch up, but boy was it worth it

I hope she feels better soon. Seems like it is everywhere

I wound up sending her after all. She said her legs felt weak but then she was running up and down the stairs. Go figure, eh?


So far today I have made apple sauce, apple cobbler and chocolate chip bars. My house smells YUMMY!!
